Nelle mie esperienze, le persone potranno vivere e conoscere dal punto di vista di una persona locale con discendenza indigena. molte tradizioni molto importanti per la cultura come le piante medicinali, la conoscenza della casa delle cerimonie, l'artigianato, la produzione del cioccolato al cacao e la storia. e anche molto importante condividere con la gente del posto e portare a casa un bellissimo ricordo di tutto ciò che è stato vissuto nel luogo. e poi dopo questa bellissima esperienza culturale. Abbiamo visitato una cascata nella zona dove puoi nuotare e goderti la natura. È un'esperienza che ti permetterà di entrare in contatto con la cultura indigena Bribri della zona e apprezzare la natura dei suoi dintorni, che pochissime persone sono riuscite a visitare e conoscere la bellezza di questa cultura. E cosa anche molto importante è che anche i più piccoli che vivranno questa esperienza potranno conoscere una delle culture più conosciute del Costa Rica.

La mia esperienza approfondirà la tua conoscenza della vita nella cultura indigena Bribri. Una delle culture più interessanti per il suo modo di vivere in armonia con la natura. Ti porterò a conoscere i miei paesi, dove sono cresciuto imparando le mie radici indigene, trasmesse di generazione in generazione, dove lavoriamo in modo sostenibile aiutando le famiglie dei territori. Grazie a Sibö (Il super indigeno essere Dio) ho avuto l'opportunità di crescere nei territori indigeni, apprendere la saggezza dei nostri antenati, l'amore e la cura per la natura, dove ho risvegliato il desiderio di salvare la mia cultura e condividerla con la gente che ci visitano. Nel territorio godremo di imponenti montagne, bellissimi fiumi, della sua cucina creola, della vita semplice, di attività ancestrali, come la preparazione del cacao, una bevanda sacra, della sua lingua Bribri, della sua medicina naturale e della sua visione del mondo. È davvero una cultura ricca di conoscenze da cui imparare, in una competenza unica. Termina con una bellissima cascata

Our guide was super friendly, answered all our curious questions, and helped us make our own delicious cacao :) would highly recommend
A MUST do! Elisio was a fantastic guide- highly professional, educational, and friendly. We learned about the Bri Bri culture through historical context but also from Elisio’s personal background and experience as a person of Bri Bri ethnic background. We examined artifacts, and got a succinct history lesson. Firsthand, we experienced roasting cacao beans, grinding in the traditional manner, and finally getting to sample the cacao paste in a carmelized banana which was delicious and nutritious. We learned about the Bri Bri culture and how they have adapted to modern times. Every sense was ignited as there was a lot to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel! We then visited the Bri Bri waterfall and it was a refreshing swim and great because barely anyone else was there in mid-June. Great way to spend a morning and early afternoon and learn about the local culture!

Eliseo was a wonderful, friendly guide. He is from the BriBri tribe and culture which gave the tour much more depth and meaning than others we observed. Eliseo shared his culture with a lot of pride and joy. We greatly appreciated the extra time he spent sharing his culture with us, everything from their spiritual beliefs to how they utilize the local plants for food and building. Of course the tour included a demonstration on how to make chocolate, including eating it over roasted bananas and as a drink. We ended the tour at BriBri falls where Eliseo took the time to take photographs of everyone in our group. He even spotted a sloth which was a highlight for several other people in our group who hadn’t seen one yet. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting the Puerto Viejo/Cahuita area.
Eliseo was great! He shared hos knowledge of his Bri Bri Culture, explained the history and even taught me some Bri Bri language! Very kind! I had a solo tour which was great!! miamià, Eliseo! 🙂
Eliseo was so passionate about sharing his culture and was full of great information. He was wonderful company as well. Tour was really interesting!
The Bri Bri tour is very rewarding. You will see beautiful nature along the river and be taken all the way into the Bri Bri cukture and learn all about making chocolate. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. This is a must for everyone.
Eliseo is a great and passionate guide wanting to share about his Bribri community with others. You will get to hear about the history of the Bribri community, tools they use, how they take advantage of the wildlife around them, make and try some chocolate, and visit a waterfall. Eliseo is very friendly and open to answering questions about his own community and experience.
Directly beforehand, the tour was incredibly great and I would really recommend it. The guide was incredibly nice and jovial, what was directly infected and as a result a generally good mood prevailed in the group. We booked the tour as a couple but were later in a group of 9 people including guide. Eliseo told us about his culture and customs, which was very interesting and educational. You learn a lot of things that you didn't know before and maybe didn't expect. When we made the chocolate, we were allowed to help and taste natural ones. The crowning achievement was the trip to the waterfall. Once there you could change and use toilets. In addition, there were fruits and beverages to help yourself to. The way to the waterfall was a small hike with some steps, just so you were prepared for it. All in all it was very nice and informative with a relaxing finish. I would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to learn a bit about the culture and customs of Bri Bri. A big thank you to Eliseo!!
A wonderful experience, you see that Elisha puts passion in what she does, it was an inexhaustible source of interesting information and overall a really rich and complete experience, highly recommended!!
