Tequila: Tour privato di mezza giornata

This was day-two of our time with Diego. We also did a tour of Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque with him the day before. We started the day with Diego taking us to a small, family owned local restaurant in Tequila that was amazing and then on to the distillery. Full disclosure, we never even knew there was a city called Tequila, but we had a great experience and lesson about the the history and distilling process visiting a family owned distillery and getting a behind the scenes view and explanation of the distilling process followed by a generous tasting. We also had a chance to visit the city center itself which is very charming and worth a visit. Diego is a standout guide, knowledgeable and personable with a great sense of humor. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Diego was amazing. Actually knew the history of tequila and we really learned a lot. He made our experience very nice i would highly recommend him if you want to have a private tour to tequila!

We were impressed with Diego's private food tour that we booked him for a second adventure to Tequila. Our group wanted to go to a specific distillery and Diego happily accommodated. The Fortaleza Distillery is absolutely stunning. Getting to see the entire tequila making process was educational and inspiring. The process at Fortaleza is entirely manual which is something that is a rarity in today's times. Anyone who visits this distillery can easily sense the pride that the employees have and the hard work that goes into their products. Diego's knowledge about Fortaleza's history and his genuine love for the product perfectly complemented the Fortaleza tour guide's commentary. For the second half of the day, we explored the town and then ended with a nightcap at a bar within an agave field. Diego's extensive knowledge about Tequila (the spirit and the town) made this tour very enjoyable. By the end of Day 2 with us, Diego could easily have been an honorary member of our squad. Take a tour with Diego and you'll feel like you spent the day with a long-lost friend, you seamlessly pick up where you left off!

Fortaleza distillery was beautiful and really showed off their craftsmanship and appreciation for making tequila by hand. I would recommend going to this distillery for everyone, tequila aficionados to the occasional drinkers. In addition to the tequila distillery portion of the tour, the town of Tequila is easy to walk around sight see, drink, and grab something to eat. We were able to stop on the way back to Guadalajara for some beautiful agave field and general scenery pictures. Wonderful tour/trip!! Would recommend this to everyone and would recommend any tour with Diego as the guide. Thanks Diego!!

This was such a fun experience! We had a group of 7 people on our trip, Diego and his driver picked us up directly from our lodging in Guadalajara to go to Tequila. He gave us history of tequila and also pointed out things along the 1-1.5 hour drive. The driver on our tour was very skilled as well. We toured a beautiful tequila distillery, which included a tasting of four types of their tequilas. The driver picked us up and drove us to the town of Tequila where we talked around and then had lunch. Since we had spent so much time at the distillery (our fault, not Diego's), the place he had in mind for lunch had a long wait. We pivoted plans and he took us to a different place. Because they knew him, we were seated right away. After lunch, we checked out some of the market stalls in the town then headed to a bar on the way back to Guadalajara. The bar was such a fun experience as well and we relaxed there before heading back into Guadalajara. Diego was so kind and knowledgeable, we had a great time. Would definitely book him again for another tour!

Adult mother & daughter outing that was excellent. Breakfast was awesome and so beautiful. The tasting was so cool and we felt like VIPs. The drive was pleasant, especially for someone who is a little claustrophobic in vans and buses. Diego is super friendly and very knowledgeable about a place he loves. Will consider other tours with him again since there is so much to see and learn. Thank you so much!!!

This was my first time using Viator and my first time visiting Guadalajara. I'm so glad I came across this tour. My family and I had the best experience getting to know Guadalajara and all thanks to Diego. I absolutely recommend booking a tour with him. He is super friendly and it shows he loves what he does, he also was very patient with us as we wanted to stop every where in Tequila. We are so grateful !! We have already told all our friends and family to visit GDL and definitely book a tour with Diego :)
