Nice bus ride along coast to the Poseidon temple
So, getting on the bus was hectic, the bus was full and we had to wait for them to send another one! The bus coordinator was nice but she wasn't really a tour guide, she was just there to count our numbers and hand us the audio guide. The audio guide quality in English was terrible, narrated in a very boring and messy way, and quite outdated, maybe recorded 20 or 30 years ago. The Poseidon temple visit was not a guided tour and not even an audio guide included. We were told it's a sunset tour, however we had to leave the site before sunset. The pickup afterwards from the temple was also hectic and messy. I don't recommend this tour.
Great experience Recommend to anyone visiting athens
Excellent tour, very well organised and explained throughout. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Definitely recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
No rental car, this is probably way to go. A marvelous site to see but spent about 6 hours and wondered around 1.5 hours. Guide is great. Bus ride not so, AC not so great going there and freezing cold coming back.
Very good, you could just give more time for visiting the places. The staff is very nice and kind. Very recommended
Great little trip. Comfortable bus, great views and was a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant on site is good and reasonably priced!
I was very disappointed with this tour. It was listed as a 4.5 hour tour. We left at 4:30p and returned about 11 pm. The bus ride there was scenic and comfortable. There was WiFi on board which was nice. What I didn’t know was that the bus drops you off and doesn’t return until 9 pm and there were very few things to do: climb a rocky hill, pay extra to go up to the temple of Poseidon (I knew it was extra and optional), eat at one nice restaurant, get a snack from snack bar, and go into a small gift shop. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a private event and the snack bar line was very long. The guidance given for the tour was to bring a bottle of water and a hat. Thinking we would be returning around 8:30, we didn’t take snacks or dinner and with the restaurant closed and the long snack bar line, it would have. Even nice to have brought a picnic. It was too much time to be there with such limited options. I did not want to pay the extra amount for the ticket to go up to the temple. The tour guide was interesting for the information told on the bus. Not sure where he disappeared to while we were at the Cape. Overall for me this was disappointing and a waste of valuable time and money.
Exactly as its described. Great ride and experience. Restaurant needs afew more seats and shade but other than that. Great time. Kind of rough with a wheelchair but doable.
Alexandra was a great guide and the GPS audio guide available during the bus ride in multiple languages was very informative. We had plenty of time at our destination to have a meal in the cafe and spend time walking around and taking pictures of the Temple of Poseidon.
