We were shown around by Iroda on a hot day, and had a comprehensive tour through the Amir Temur park, metro, bazaar, and around the surroundings of the Islamic Civilization Centre. Following this, we had a food tour which included Manti and Plov. Iroda was patient, considerate, and highly knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. She also took the effort to check in with us which, given the temperature that day, was appreciated. She also provided us with great insights into the city and Uzbek food. Iroda was also keen to learn about the cultures and backgrounds of everyone on the tour which really made us feel welcome. Overall, this is an excellent tour and I highly recommend it. But it was made truly worthwhile by an excellent guide!
Thank you Golib for giving me an amazing walking tour! It's a great introduction to Uzbekistan. To me, the highlight was the lunch, in which I was able to see how the Plov was cooked. The meal itself was delicious. Yes, it's very hot in summer but this walking tour is totally worth it if you have a day in Tashkent.
Bek is an awesome guide and the walking tour I took with him was the best introduction to Uzbekistan and a highlight of my whole time in the country. He is very knowledgeable about all the key sites he takes you to see and I really enjoyed the pace with which the tour moved. I felt like we saw so much but did not feel rushed at all. We saw Amir Temur square, the independence square, a couple of the awesome metro stations, chorsu bazaar, and hazrati imam. I also reccommend reaching out to Bek for private tour options as well as I also got to go to plov center and other museums with him after the tour which was a great experience. I only have good things to say about this tour and Bek as well 🙏🏼🙏🏼. 11/10 experience.
Fun and informative tour with Asrorbek who is a great guide. Saw a lot of Tashkent and the tour was paced and timed very well.
Great walking tour of Tashkent with culture stops, architecture sites, national history monuments, the UNESCO subway, religious sites and the grand bazaar! Lots of walking so wear good shoes and stay hydrated! The guide (Sardor) was patient, knowledgeable and helpful! He kept us on track and answered questions respectfully! Samples at the bazaar but not a food tour per se. Overall great experience and value for the money!
MUST book tour if you’re in Tashkent. Asrorbek is knowledgeable and a great tour guide! Had a great Tashkent walking tour and learned a lot about the history and tasted good food in Chorsu Bazaar 👍👍👍
It was a wonderful tour with our great guide, Asrorbek. I highly recommend to go on this tour at the beginning of your trip as you can learn a lot about not only Tashkent but also Uzbekistan in general.
I did a solo trip to Uzbekistan in June 2026. I had pre booked a tour and assumed it was as part of a group but I ended up being the only person (and was very happy). My tour guide Iroda was excellent. I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. She was so enthusiastic and really ensure that we went at my pace and spent time on what I wanted. It felt highly personalised. I had also hurt my back a few weeks before and she took great care in ensure that I had places to sit down or if we needed to taxi anywhere. She covered all the main sites and the history behind the city. Highly recommend (you need a tour guide in the city).
If you like to explore Tashkent with real city experience then this the best tour. Our guide Iroda was very knowledgeable and prepared well for the tour. She gave us great in depth details and history about the city and various landmarks. If you want to immerse with the local culture, explore the old city and get local vibes in Tashkent then this tour is a must.
We had an absolutely amazing tour with Asrorbek. His English is outstanding! We liked Asrorbek to talk about the history of Tasjkent and Oezbekistan together with fun facts about places and structures together with personal experiences and stories. We can highly recommend this tour.
