Easy to follow. Just the right amount of information. Great value for the money. Perfect if only in Taos for a few hours.
This was a great way to get acquainted with Taos and its plaza, history, architecture, and arts. We felt much better equipped to wander purposefully the next day.
Excellent audio tour with interesting stories. Easy to navigate the tour. Recommended for overview of Taos Plaza area.
We were unable to use this on Saturday. I messaged Gary to request an extension but he did not respond. I would not recommend this tour unless you are for sure going to make the date you choose! Plans always change while on vacation!
Easy to use and very interesting audio guide (BYO earbuds!) that directs you to some key sights in the "downtown" area of Taos, in and around the plaza. We parked in the overflow parking lot of the Harwood Museum (first stop on the tour) and went into the museum (which was quite interesting). It is NOT a loop tour, so you need to find your way back to the start, but that's easy (especially if you can use GoogleMaps), and it's all a flat, easy walk that combines historical locations and good places to shop for art and other Taos specialties.
Information was good and it was a good option for a short amount of time. We learned valuable information about Taos.
Very nice village, quiet and very comfortable You feel safe and everything is very interesting Its architecture is very nice
Well worth it. I saw things and went into places I wouldn’t have otherwise. Good amount of info and clear directions. Definitely recommend!
First, let me say, I could tell that someone worked hard on the app. But I found Difficult to navigate when having frequent interruptions (no fault of the app). We had a fretful dog with us, and every time I had to deal with the dog, we messed up the app. Accidentally skipped or didn't hear a part that went something like this "facing the ___ turn left.." Veyr clear, but if you miss that, you're toast. Also, I hated having it speaking while people were walking nearby. I could have used earphones, but we forgot ours and I'm not sure I could come up with 2 working sets anyhow. SO, I tried to access the written part, but it was difficult to find - I kept getting sent back. It could have something to do with location-sensitivity? Anyhow, I'd recommend taking a long look at the app before starting. That said, I'm very accustomed to apps, I just found this one VERY difficult to navigate unless I could give it my full attention. I'd suggest making the map and/or written version much easier to opt into.
It was an interesting tour. We found out more history and facts that way. We walked around Taos to areas that we did not know about prior to taking the tour. Taos was a wonderful area to visit. We enjoyed the walking tour app so much that we did another in Santa Fe.
