Takayama Jinya era il luogo in cui 25 generazioni di governatori/magistrati provinciali hanno svolto i loro compiti ufficiali relativi all'amministrazione, alla polizia e alla giustizia per governare Hida sotto lo shogunato per oltre 176 anni dal 1692 (quando la provincia di Hida fu posta sotto il dominio diretto dello shogunato di Edo) al 1868 .
Il centro storico di Takayama è stato magnificamente conservato con molti edifici e intere strade di case risalenti al periodo Edo (1600-1868), in particolare la via Sannomachi, sopravvive in uno stato particolarmente grazioso con molte vecchie case, negozi, caffetterie e birrerie di sake, alcune di cui sono in attività da secoli.
Shirakawago, famoso in tutto il mondo, è assolutamente da vedere in Giappone. Ti sembrerà di fare un viaggio nel tempo qui. Viaggio di andata e ritorno da Takayama o Toyama - ulteriori 13.000 yen per gruppo da pagare al momento del ritiro. Max 7 persone (consigliato per 5 adulti 2 bambini). Il seggiolino per bambini deve essere fornito per i bambini di età inferiore ai 5 anni, quindi fatecelo sapere in anticipo.

TK was our guide and photographer to Shirakawa-go & Takayama for a day. It started with him picking us up at our hotel punctually in a very comfortable vehicle. His driving was smooth & safe. He certainly is a very experienced photographer who knows all the best spots to capture beautiful shots. The poses he suggested also looked very natural in the photos and we love all the photos he took of my family. He is very pleasant to talk to and since we enjoyed his company, we also invited him to have lunch with us. We absolutely enjoyed the Hida beef restaurant he recommended! Thanks to TK we have the photos he took to remind us of the wonderful trip.

We had an incredible day with Takatoshi-san, who was both an excellent tour guide and a skilled photographer, making the trip seamless and memorable. We went to Shirakawago in the morning, had lunch at a very nice Ramen shop in Takayama (Takatoshi-san's recommendation) and spent the afternoon wandering around the Old town of Takayama. Takatoshi-san really knew all the best photo spots and he took stunning pictures for us. Friendly, helpful, and professional, he truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Highly recommend this tour!

I completed the Takayama and Shirakawago tour with TK. I was going to propose to my girlfriend during the photo shoot, but TK was very supportive of the plan and the choice of the spot. We had a great day exploring these beautiful places with TK whilst creating some gorgeous family photos. TK made the whole experience easy from booking to receiving the images very promptly. TK was patient and punctual. His English was excellent, and so too the photos he took. The days seemed so smooth and effortless: the pick up, drive there, casual and unhurried tour and photo shoot, free time and then lunch. Takayama and Shirakawago are beautiful spots to visit.

TK was our.tour guide and photographer formour day trip to Takayama and Shirakawago. His knowledge was great and we learnt a lot about each of the areas we visited.
