We did the Vallarta 101 Breakfast and Welcome Walk with Memo. He was a wonderful guide for our family group of 12. We started with breakfast at El Campanario, a charming small restaurant with really good food. Memo gave us a lot of interesting information about the town and its history. He also took us away from the "tourist-y area," up some steep hills and stairs to a largely residential area with great look-out points. He was professional, informative and very engaging. I would definitely recommend him.

Memo was a great guide and the food was excellent. Our group was comprised of grandparents, parents and kids aged 8-12. The tour and the walk was easily manageable for everyone.

We did the daytime tour with Memo! It was amazing! Took us away from the tourist area and got the best tacos of my life and best agua frescas. He was knowledgeable about every stop! So glad we did this is the beginning of our trip!

This is a great food tour! We enjoyed walking through the streets of Puerto Vallarta and learning about the city's history and culture as we went from one taco stop to another. The tacos were absolutely delicious, and we had a variety of types of tacos. We also enjoyed the different drinks that we tried, and the ice cream at the end of the tour was outstanding! Memo is a wonderful guide! He is very fun and knowledgeable. We look forward to taking another tour with him when we return to Puerto Vallarta. I recommend booking this trip for the beginning of your stay in Puerto Vallarta so you can return to these wonderful places while you are in town.

No one showed up for our scheduled taco 101 tour. Very disappointing.

Memo (tour guide) is extremely knowledgeable and so so nice. He gave us a great taco tasting experience.

We spent the day on a walking tour with Vallarta 101 (sponsored by the International Friendship Club), and let’s just say "walking" was mostly just a way to make room for more food. We hit five spots—some we’ve walked past for years but never tried. Big mistake! From the breakfast tacos at La Campanario, the Birria and consomé at Chanfay, the carnerias at Canaria to the shrimp at Mariscos Cisneros, everything was 10/10. We even managed to squeeze in paletas from La Michoacana at the end, despite being stuffed to the gills. Pro Tip: If you do this tour, do NOT eat breakfast. Actually, maybe don't eat the night before either. It’s a delicious marathon, and our guide was an absolute pro at herding us through the streets while dropping some amazing local history. Highly recommend for anyone visiting (or living in) PV! 🇲🇽✨

We learned a lot about tacos and enjoyed our day! Memo is full of knowledge and took great care of us. We had a fantastic tour and were stuffed by the end! My only complaint (if that) was our tour was about 3.5 hours rather than two, and we had another activity we had planned so we had to go at the end very quickly. But aside from that, very enjoyable!

Memo was an awesome guide! Very knowledgeable about Puerta Vallerta and food, shopping areas and especially tacos. Easy walking in small area. Highly recommend!
