L'area che occupa attualmente era quella che era conosciuta fino alla fine del diciannovesimo secolo come i Potreros de la Romita, situati a ovest di quella che era la città di La Romita - situata in quel momento sulle rive di Città del Messico, e originata in una città preispanica chiamata Aztacalco. Questi paddock erano divisi dalla Calzada de Chapultepec, SA Land Company, il cui principale azionista era Walter Orrin, 6 che, oltre ad essere conosciuto per le sue idee per migliorare e rinnovare Città del Messico, possedeva un famoso circo nel paese in quegli anni, in cui recitava il famoso clown inglese Richard Bell, che apparteneva al prestigioso Jockey Club e faceva parte dei punti salienti dell'alta società porfiriana. Da allora e fino ad oggi, i nomi che guidano le strade della colonia sono quelli delle città messicane che Cirque Orrín ha visitato durante i suoi tour attraverso l'interno del paese, decidendo di dare un nome alle strade con i nomi dei luoghi dove applaudire maggiormente ricevuto.
È stato aperto negli anni '50 come parte di vari sforzi per modernizzare i mercati della città. Dispone di 1.150 bancarelle dedicate alla vendita di fiori, composizioni floreali, piante ornamentali e accessori come vasi. Il mercato offre circa 5.000 tipi di fiori e piante

Great experience. Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We paid extra to be picked up from the airport and were shown around Mexico City to taste different tacos.
Carlos (our guide) and Arturo (the driver) were amazing. Brought us to really delicious local places we would never have found on our own, and were engaging and informative. We can’t recommend them highly enough.
Great time eating great food and seeing more of the Mexico City culture. We went to four different taco joints and experienced a different taste at each place.
We loved our time with Carlos! Tasted amazing tacos we never would have tried and learned so much about this vibrant city. Definitely arrive hungry as we could have been rolled out, but worth it for sure!!
Very expensive for what you get. Nice tour guide, but charging almost $200 per person to visit 3 taco stands and a mezcal bar for 1 drink is significantly overpriced compared to other experiences we had in CDMX
What a great experience we had with Victoria. She was very knowledgeable of the area and it's history . Also very friendly . The tacos where bombbbbb lol. The mezcal was just as good . Would definitely recommend .
Book this immediately! A great way to see different parts of the city, experience food stops you probably wouldn't otherwise know and learn about the city! Carlos and Christian are amazing-worth every penny and more.
We went to 4 different taco spots as well as a very cool bar where we had some fantastic mezcal. We did not speak Spanish and our guide was super helpful in getting us an awesome array of different types of tacos at all these spots. I was totally stuffed at the end and had some fantastic tacos. Awesome tour for sure. 5/5 stars.
What a fun night! Our guide was awesome. Loved that it was a private tour and we got picked up and dropped off. It was also nice to have a break from walking as well. We went to four places and had such a good variety of tacos. It was really interesting to learn about all the different styles. I was so full at the end, I couldn’t eat another bite. Highly recommended!
