Ronaldo did an amazing job teaching my family how to surf. We all had different levels of abilities and were able to get up...the first time! Ronaldo contacted us the day before to suggest a different time of day to surf based on the tide. We are so glad we changed our time because the waves were perfect! Somebody was also there the whole time to watch our belongings and take pictures. Overall a great experience. Pura Vida!

Rinaldo aka The Lion 🦁 is the real deal! 🤙 Patient, knowledgeable, and an awesome coach. He spent the first hour getting me comfortable, and by the second hour I was up riding waves. One of the highlights of my trip to Tamarindo. If you want to learn to surf, this is your guy. Pura Vida! 🌊🏄

Ronaldo is the ONLY tour guide you need! He hooked up horseback riding, a day long boat adventure, and even a local rodeo! Incredible guy do not miss it!! He is a local and knows everybody if he doesn’t have what you’re looking for it doesn’t exist.

Ronaldo is great!! He was super friendly and had great options for surf lessons. He was able to accommodate my busy schedule while I was there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were able to work on some intermediate surfing techniques as well. We will definitely use and recommend him in the future to all our friends coming to visit. Pura Vida!!

What an incredible experience. Surfing has always been a bucket list dream but starting at a beginner’s level was always an intimidating obstacle. My partner and I were walking along the beach when we met Ronaldo. He’s got to be THE most patient instructor we’ve had the pleasure of learning from. He walked us step-by-step through the basics on shore, leading up to shallow water and then hitting the waves, he created this effective transition. Nothing but smiles for my partner and myself, we had so much fun. The next you find yourself in Tamarindo, please seek him out. I forgot to mention how much money we saved choosing him over the other surf instructions. We saved big! Thank you Ronaldo for an unforgettable surf experience!

We had a two-hour surf lesson with Ronaldo today and we were super happy! He explained everything clearly and showed us the techniques in a very practical way, so we could really learn a lot. The lesson was not only very instructive but also full of fun and good vibes. Ronaldo has a great way of teaching the basics and at the same time making sure you feel comfortable in the water and make real progress. You can see that he teaches with passion and joy. Ronaldo went above and beyond everyday. Taught my 16 year old to surf. Made sure we were getting the best waves at the best times. Also helped when we had questions about the area and the best places to go. Treated us like good friends and family whenever we saw him. Highly recommend him for all ages- was fantastic with our friends young kids.

Took a surf lesson in Tamarindo! Ronaldo and is team were amazing with both adults and kids. Everything was professional and everone really learn the good way to stand up on the board. They also cared about Security and that was a point week-end really appreciated. Thumbs up for the good time!!!!! Pura Vida!

I did 3 surf lessons with Ronaldo and each time was with a different board. He helped me pick out new boards to try and by the end of 3 lessons I had improved greatly! He helps you get past the breaking waves safely, helps you understand how to read the wave, and I will forever hear his advice and encouragement in my head every time I surf now. Can’t wait to go back and surf with him again!
