L'affascinante Zia sul pendio più meridionale, la cui posizione superba lo rende il luogo perfetto per ammirare tramonti spettacolari e ammirare le vicine isole di Kalymnos e Pserimos e la costa turca in lontananza. Durante l'estate l'insediamento di Zia esplode di attività da parte degli innumerevoli visitatori che vengono ad assaggiare prelibatezze locali servite in affascinanti taverne tradizionali, per acquistare prodotti locali unici e souvenir e passeggiare per i vicoli di ciottoli fino alla sua cristallina sorgenti di acqua dolce, la più nota delle quali è Cefalovrisi.

Questo viaggio è progettato per darti tutta la libertà che desideri scoprire Zia alle tue condizioni. Il minibus ti verrà a prendere dal tuo hotel e ti porterà al suo centro. Ti divertirai a scoprire il villaggio da solo, al tuo ritmo, senza una guida. Zia è un incantevole paesino che si trova alla base del monte Dikeos, la montagna più alta dell'isola di Kos, che culmina a 846 m sul livello del mare. Il villaggio ha mantenuto la sua atmosfera tradizionale ed è diventata una delle maggiori attrazioni turistiche dell'isola. Qui troverai molti negozietti che vendono prodotti locali, arti e mestieri. L'atmosfera è molto rilassata e ti divertirai a sorseggiare un drink o cenare su una romantica terrazza ammirando il tramonto più bello di Kos. Ti consigliamo di provare la famosa deliziosa limonata fatta in casa servita ovunque. Avrai circa 2 ore e mezza di tempo libero.

Hotel pick up was on time ,zai was a lovely places to visit ,sunset was spectacular,lots of nice restaurants too eat in ,would recommend people to visit
It was a great experience, everything was good.
If you book this trip with viatour make sure you contact them for the exact time of your pick up as it differs from what is advertised picked up in a brand new black transit van the driver was the most miserable man never spoke at all until we got to zia then when he did speak make sure uour back for 845pm he could have told the people on board that you need to book a table at a restaurant if uou wished to eat nothing whatsoever silent going back to kos town put it this way I won't be using via your again
Booked with this company which was easy. Informed about pick up time and location which was close to the hotel. Driver arrived on time, who was very friendly. Only 10 people in total on a lovely air conditioned bus. The price of the tour was excellent £38 for 2 adults. Arrived in Zia village which was beautiful. Lovely little shops selling local produce and hand made gifts. Lovely restaurants also. We ate at Olympia2 which had been recommended to us. A lovely restaurant with roof top terrace. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices are good and portion sizes large. Food was lovely. I had beetroot starter with garlic dip and pitta, partner had garlic mushrooms. For main, I had pork chop which was huge and partner had chicken fillet which was also big. A litre of wine and the total cost was €70. To end the evening we saw the most amazing sunset. We met with a lovely Dutch couple who was sat on the next table. Thank you for an excellent trip. Highly recommend
It was great, I would recommend it. The driver was very nice and was punctual. Very careful.
I mistakenly thought I would visit a typical village; it is nothing more than a collection of numerous stalls and taverns for tourists. Buses pass through the narrow streets of the small center among the people, as do cars and quads. The view is beautiful; one can enjoy a lovely sunset. Although it is not yet high season, you should get in line to admire it unless you make a reservation in advance at the taverns with terraces. There is nothing to say about the landscape; it is stunning.
Amazing views and a beautiful meal at Olympus 2
Unfortunately we was left as driver picked up wrong couple , however I text the company and they quickly rectified it and sent a private driver about 25 mins later. Lovely views and plenty of bars and restaurants there
Last minute pickup time change and when we couldn’t make the new time we were ghosted and never heard from them again. Very unprofessional and no refund was provided!
It was about a 40 minute drive. The excursion is just the transportation. The driver was very good. The town is very charming.
