This was a wonderful experience with Chino our tour guide. From the beginning of the Pyramid tour to ending with Our Lady of Guadalupe. We had an excellent time and met some great people Along the way.

Great experience. The tour from the city to Teotihuacan with the explanations of the guide Ricardo was a very good preamble of the tour. When you arrive at the archaeological complex you visit an art gallery and enjoy the process of making the pieces, you can taste Mexican spirits and receive a very significant history of the origin and development of Mexican culture. Then the guided tour of the pyramids and the basilica are full of symbolism and important history. Highly recommended!!!

Guide was knowledgeable and nice The driver did his job the pyramid information was interesting But there’s so much wasted time, especially at the beginning of the tour and at lunch. By the time we reached the cathedral, all we wanted to do is to get out of the tour. A drop off at the cathedral gift shop was ridiculous The cathedral was also closed for mass.So we were not able to go in. We left early because we felt we had had enough and took an uber back to our hotel. Way too many hours spent wandering around and waiting especially at the restaurant It was NOT a well designed tour with the traveler’s best interests in mind Not the guide‘ s fault The tourist traps were unnecessary and a waste of our travel day.

They were very complimentary and organized. They efficiently separated English-speaking foreigners from Spanish-speaking tourists. The bus very comfortable and clean. The times were fulfilled and the guide knew extensively the topics he explained. The driver was cautious when driving the bus and there were no inconveniences during the journey. The only observation is that the guide avoided using the bus toilet and it is known that in Mexico City all public toilets charge them. If used correctly, hygienically and without making depositions, it was not understood why he insisted that they will not use it. Finally, I suggest that you explain the alliances you make well to your clients. Nowhere in the email did he talk about Mexitours. Online contact was with Amigo Tours. Overall it was a successful tour and lived up to expectations.

Our guide was awesome, so energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable about all the places we visited. I felt like I was watching a Discovery documentary but was the people in the documentary. We enjoyed the entire experience.

Sincerely considering that getting to Teotihuacan is complicated on its own, it is okay to have a tour that takes you up to the point and back, but beyond that, the tour is not a big deal or at least the one we had. To begin with, you are scheduled at 8.45am (I understand that to leave at 9am or somewhat later if there is an unexpected) but we leave at 9.30am last; this delay then implies that everything is delayed and there is very little time left to see the pyramids and for activities in general. If you add to this that instead of taking advantage of the bus ride to explain things, the (uncertified) guide, as soon as he entered was like 20-30 minutes explaining something that had nothing to do with the enclosure itself (legends of the sun and moon and a pendant he was wearing)... the visiting time is reduced even more. Before the pyramids, they take you to a craft site and it's very cool. The bad thing is that since they didn’t set a time limit, people spent a lot of time watching the craft and shopping (which also takes time away from seeing the pyramids). My recommendation, don't take the food, it's not worth it. Take some food and stay longer in the pyramids while the rest eat (leave through door 3 and arrive in 8 minutes walk to the restaurant where the tour goes). As soon as we arrived at the sanctuary of Guadalupe, we left on our own, as the guide again began to explain things, which if useful or interesting great, but not and which take a lot of time to visit the place (which is not small). In addition to my point of view, he started touching photos and memories that people leave in the image of the virgin and I found it disrespectful. Honestly, I don’t understand where the guide came from, many of the explanations he gave we had the feeling or that they had nothing to do with it, or that he was making up a story. When we told him that we went to the area farthest from the pyramids (away from the door where we entered) because we had been recommended to visit that area, he told us that this area he did not recommend it because there were mercury vapors. If that were true, they would not be open to the public (and the vigilantes would be dead by now). If you’re interested in history, it’s better to find out on your own and read books or search online than to listen to him (I don’t know if this happens with all the guides they have for that tour, but it’s the experience I had).

Teothiacan is beautiful and deserves a visit but the tour left to be desired from the point of view of organization and time management. We left CDMX past 9:30 and instead of going straight to the pyramids pq this was the focus of the tour we stayed turning back until we stopped at a store where we stayed for more than 1 hour. When we arrived at the pyramids we had almost an hour to visit. The guide was very good and knew a lot of the history but did not give time to stay explaining otherwise we would not have time to visit. The same happened in the basilica we had 1h to visit. So for me time management made the experience very bad. If there is a traffic problem, if you have to pass in the local store then the tour start earlier and do not harm the weather in the locations.

It was a pity to reach the temples of Teotihuacan and have to run (literally) to be able to see the whole archaeological area. Then the same thing happened in the Basilica of Guadalupe: running down the steps to get to see everything. The guide did his job well, kindly and sharing interesting facts, but the planning should have been better. We leave almost an hour late, that can happen with traffic in the city, but in that case the time of visits to souvenir businesses and not to the main locations of the trip should have been cut.
