Best thing to do on a cruise stop in La Havre. Lawrence gave us a great overview of the history of the region, and the bus driver expertly handled some very tricky roads. Beautiful towns.

Beautiful towns. There was a lot of down time in each place that allowed for shopping and eating. Lawrence was very knowledgeable and provided water on such a hot day.

The tour guide Bastian is vere knowledgeable and knows the place very well. He also showed us his book about Hornfleur that he has written and illustrated. yes we recommend him to friends and family.Deauville is another place. I love it by the ocean where all the big names in the movies had their dressing room are.

Travel guide was very thorough, interesting, on time with plenty of time to return to ship. He was easily understood being from Australia. Both my husband and myself having hearing difficulties and he was easy to follow. Seemed to really love his job.

From start to finish, our Viator‑booked Honfleur excursion was one of the highlights of our trip — and that was due in large part to our guide, Lawrence. He was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about France. More importantly, he made us feel like guests, not customers. That kind of hospitality is rare. Our first stop was Deauville, home of the Sundance Film Festival. Lawrence recommended a local crepe shop, and I’m grateful he did. My wife had never tried a crepe before — and she has a very discerning palate — so I wanted her first one to be the real deal. She absolutely loved the fresh strawberry crepe I bought her. That alone would’ve made the morning memorable. Then came Honfleur, and it exceeded even Lawrence’s detailed description. The seaside views were stunning, the seafood in the local restaurants tasted like it came straight off the boat, and the streets were lined with vendors selling cheese, fruit, and all kinds of local treats. I even found a shop selling Cuban cigars at a reasonable price — a win in my book. One of my favorite moments was practicing my high‑school French with the cigar shop owner. I greeted him and asked how he was doing — all in French — and his grin was as wide as Broad Street in Philly is long. He started speaking to me in French, and I told him (in French) that I only spoke a little. He replied that he only spoke a little English. We both laughed and kept going. When he asked if the price was okay, I accidentally answered “Si” before correcting myself with “Oui.” He laughed even harder. That small exchange made my day. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience — great guide, great food, great scenery, and great memories. If you’re considering this excursion, do yourself a favor and book it. And if you’re lucky enough to get Lawrence, you’re in for something special

We were so very happy with this tour in all regards. Communication was prompt and friendly. Directions to meeting point were clear and there was even a representative right outside cruise terminal with a big Vesperio flag to direct us to our bus. We visited Honfleur and Deauville- both were beautiful and interesting little towns. Our guide, Bastian, was kind and very informative. He had a great command of English and spoke very clearly. Bravo to this tour!!!

It was a great tour and the guide Lawrence was very accommodating of my wife’s limited desire to walk. We had free time in Honfleur and had a great lunch at one of the many outdoor restaurants at the harbor. Loved it.
