A Colorado-made Single Malt Whiskey Tour in Denver. A Treat!
This was a wonderful afternoon excursion, made even better by an outstanding single‑malt selection—crafted entirely from Colorado barley, yeast, and water. The multiple tastings were absolutely worth it. Add in a professional and welcoming staff, a thoughtfully designed tour, and a guide with deep expertise (ask for Paul), and the experience was exceptional.
Although I came in knowing a bit about Single Malt Scotch, I left with a much sharper appreciation for American single malt whiskey—one that can genuinely stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder with many of the best from Scotland. The one‑hour tour, generous tastings, onsite tavern, and the feeling of having made new friends make this a visit well worth your time.

Great tour and tasting!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Delicious mixed drinks at the bar. Great view of the mountains and sunset at that location.

Great whiskey. Great people.
Great tour and great guide (Amy.). Informative and fun. Really good whiskey. One point. If you do the 6 pm tour on a Sunday the bar is closed by the time you are done so go a. It earlier. Passionate about their product though so well with the trip.

American single malt
Such a cool experience learning about the making of whiskey and how Stranahan’s came to be. Admission fee reasonable for tour and the length of the tour was perfect. Tour size perfect and the atmosphere was great for a working distillery. Paul our guide was great and knowledgeable. He made the experience a great one.
