We had such a lovely time on this tour! Alex was a fantastic guide, really knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer all our questions. There were 9 of us on the tour, which made such a difference. It felt much more personal and relaxed than being part of a big group. Alex made sure everyone felt included and had the chance to ask questions if we had any. We learned so much, and you can clearly sense the passion and the amount of work that is behind this tour. The value for money was exceptional, and we really enjoyed the whole experience. I’m hopeing Alex will add some more tours, because I’d definitely love to do another one 😊

I really enjoyed this tour. The guide has a very pleasant voice and is very easy to listen to. English isn’t my first language, but I had no trouble following him at all. It wasn’t just a dry list of facts and dates – the stories were told in an interesting and entertaining way, which made the tour really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it.

My friend and I have lived in London for 30 years and have also worked in the City so I have to admit we were a bit sceptical about how ‘hidden’ the stories would be. We could not have been more wrong. Alex was very personable and knowledgeable; he pitched the tour at the right level, and had so many interesting things to share. The two hours went by in a flash and we really learnt a lot. Highly recommended for both Londoners and tourists alike.

It was one of the best things I could have picked for a Saturday. Alex was knowledgeable and engaging. He took us on a walk that on any other day would have just been a regular stroll but is now become really meaningful. Would definitely recommend for other city dwellers and travelers.
