La tua esperienza inizia al Dog Rose, situato nello storico quartiere di Lincolnville sul lato sud del quartiere storico di St. Augustine. Sia il principe Achille Murat (nipote di Napoleone Bonaparte) che il poeta americano Ralph Waldo Emerson rimasero qui negli anni 1820 per combattere un attacco di malattia. Questa casa coquina del 1790 è un ottimo esempio di architettura del secondo periodo spagnolo.
Con parti della struttura risalenti al 1691, la O'Reilly House è la più antica dimora permanente di St. Augustine. Padre Michael O'Reilly si trasferì nella casa nel 1785 e fu una figura di primo piano nella costruzione della Cattedrale. Alla sua morte nel 1812, cedette la casa alla Chiesa cattolica. Ora è gestito come un museo dalle Suore di San Giuseppe.
Estendendosi a sud da Plaza a Bridge Street, Aviles Street è una delle strette strade storiche della città rivestite di mattoni che ha conservato gran parte del suo carattere coloniale.
La piazza è stata una parte centrale di Sant'Agostino dal 1573, quando fu istituita per la prima volta dalle ordinanze reali spagnole.
La strada più stretta della città! Costruito solo 7 piedi di larghezza per rendere quasi impossibile rubare l'oro trasportato dalle navi al tesoro reale spagnolo.
Il forte più antico e più grande in muratura negli Stati Uniti continentali. Terminato nel 1695 e sopravvissuto a 2 attacchi britannici. Non fa parte del National Park Service.
A partire dalle porte della città vecchia e fino alla storica Lincolnville, St. George Street è il centro di negozi, divertimenti, siti storici, attrazioni e ristoranti.

Alex was an amazing tour guide! We learned so much about St. Augustine’s history and the food and beverage scene. The drinks and snacks were had were beyond expectations.

We had such a great time learning about St. Augustine and tasting food and beverages along the way. Alex shared his deep knowledge of the city both from a historical perspective and by introducing us to his favorite venues for food and drinks. He did an outstanding job of tailoring the tour to what he learned about us along the way. This was a great afternoon and I would highly recommend it. We will definitely select another experience when we return to St. Augustine!

Excellent tour from start to finish! Alex is amazing: thorough knowledge of St Augustine history, great stories, and a great introduction to a very wide selection of beers, all of which were delicious. Every minute was fun as well as informative. We also stopped at a great pub and had a platter of three delicious appetizers. I can’t imagine a better introduction to this beautiful city.
We actually ended up doing a different tour but it's with the same company. The tour guide Alex is awesome and a wealth of knowledge. His love for the town is infectious and we were able to sample some wine, BBQ, desserts & cocktail. I highly recommend this tour and I will go again when back in town. Thank-you, Alex!

This is a great trip-our guide Steve was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, we even offered if he came to our town we would take him to a brewery!!!! The tour was fun, beer was great, would recommend this to anyone wanting a great walking tour and checking out local breweries!!
We had the pleasure of meeting Alex and spending the day with him as he guided us around St. Augustine highlighting some of the lesser known gems and stories of the city. We did the beer and history tour and wouldn't hesitate a second to do another tour with this company. Everything was exceptional; great beer, fantastic food, awesome stops along the way, and a guide who was personable, entertaining, and truly wanted to make sure we had a good time. He found out we were celebrating a birthday and made some last minute changes to personalize the tour for us and make an incredibly special memory for our family.
