Split e Trogir Mezza Giornata PICCOLO GRUPPO Tour w Nave da crociera Drop Off

Descrizione

A nice, informative quick tour of split with second half a very pleasant surprise. The first half of the trip in split was informative, quick and pleasant. The second half turned out to be the best part of afternoon. No one else was going on to trogir after so we had a private tour. The guide was informative and pleasant. We had a lovely afternoon doing lunch and checking out the small quaint town.
Excellent tour lots of information highly recommended
Antonia was remarkable. Her passion for Split and Trogir was palpable. She was rich in her history and took the time to make sure every question was answered. We started in Trogir first which worked out to be the best due to traffic and then after seeing the palace in Split, we had time to see and participate in some other things. Great Experience.
Awesome tour - the best of our trip (including 6 tours between Venice and Croatia)! Yvonna was a great tour guide - extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We learned a ton about Croatia on whole, as well as Trogir, Split and the Diocletian palace. So cool to see these well preserved places in history still being used today! The transportation was ideal - clean, comfortable and fully air conditioned van - with pick up and drop off directly at the cruise port. Cannot say enough good things! Our tri-generational family, which includes 11 and 14 year old boys, mid-40’s AND near 80 year olds all agreed this was the BEST tour and Yvonna was the BEST guide of our trip!!!
We had a wonderful time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient. Plenty of time explore Split and Trogir on our own. It was midday, so it started to get a little crowded in Trogir, but our guide was able to get us into areas that were a little more quiet so we could hear her. Overall great experience!!
Be forewarned - if there’s traffic the bus ride is more like 75 minutes. Maybe it was just the day, but a half hour additional time really limited the remainder of our time in Split. Second - the tour guides followed a script, but never bothered to fill in information during the extended trip. They spent the remainder talking to each other or the driver. Third, the communication was lacking or confusing. We had to pick up one person in a different location due to a conflict in the written instructions. Then some people didn’t get off at Diocletian’s palace due to confusion. These issues cost additional precious time for the rest of the group. Finally, the instructions indicate that we would be dropped off at the pickup point, but our guide simply ended the tour at the north end of the Palace. This meant a 30 minute walk back to the ship. For some of the participants, I’m sure this was difficult due to physical issues.
Dear, we are really sorry for the bad experience. As you saw from the window of the bus there was a car accident where a person lost his life, so the traffic was stopped for 30min. There is nothing we could do. We can not turn the bus around in the middle of the one was street. Also, regarding the drop off location, we offer every guest of ours to be dropped of at the ship and noone accepted since you had 3 more hours of free time in the city before departure, and lastly walk from the old town to the ship is 15min if you walk slowly.
On June 6, 2026, our cruise ship docked in Split, where my wife and I took the "Split & Trogir" tour by “Split Local Tours” agency. Our guide, Ivana — easy to spot thanks to her purple umbrella — met us right near the cruise terminal. She also drove our comfortable, air-conditioned van (just six tourists total). We started in the beautiful old city of Trogir. Ivana is incredibly knowledgeable, speaks excellent English, and perfectly adapted the route to handle the day's traffic and weather. Next, we headed back to Split for a walk through Diocletian’s Palace, followed by some free time to stroll the old town on our own. Thank you, Ivana, for an absolutely perfect tour! We enjoyed our time in Trogir and Split very much. The free time in Trogir was just enough to see things on our own and do a little shopping. The transportation was a bus that was clean and the driver did a great job. There were 31 people in our group and 2 tour guides. They divided us up so we had smaller numbers with each guide. Both guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our time in Split was also good. Lots of history here to be shared. We enjoyed walking thru the bazaar after. My only negative comment would be that the tour was a little long on a really hot day. That’s no one’s fault though! We enjoyed our time!
An excellent tour our guide was friendly and very informative. We all had a great day and recommended this tour.
Antonia was a wealth of knowledge and provided great detail of the history of Dalmatia! She was so passionate and provided great insights on this region from early times to present day!
