Hi there, thanks for your review. The DC-3 add-on stretches an already full South Coast day, so hearing the timing worked out is good to know. Thanks for taking the time to share this. Arctic Adventures Team

The tour was awesome more so through the mesmerising talk of guide magga ,She made us feel our 12 hr tour like it got over in a flick of second by her relentless, informative narration through out.
Hi there, thank you for sharing! A 12-hour day on the South Coast is a long one, so when the guide's storytelling makes it feel like it flew by, that's the whole thing working as it should. Arctic Adventures Team
One of the best and most adventurous tours we’ve done. The tour guide’s were informative, enthusiastic and fun to be around. Overall the experience was well organized and very much worth it. Italia was the best tour guide.
We took the South Coast tour with Franklin as our guide. A great day blessed with amazing weather. Franklin shared great knowledge and facts, entertaining us along the way with a great playlist. We had plenty time at each stop and would recommend.
Hi there, thanks for this. The South Coast is a long day with a lot to see, so getting good weather and unhurried time at each stop is the combination that makes it work. Glad the playlist pulled its weight too. We'll pass your note back to the team.
We had a fantastic day on this tour! Our tour guide, Lili was very knowledgeable and fun! She told us some great facts and anecdotes about the areas we were visiting and Icelandic culture in general. The views were spectacular and there was enough time at each stop to enjoy them. I would recommend you bring a packed lunch and snacks with you if you want to save money but we stopped off at places where you could get hot meals, sandwiches, snacks and coffee!
Dear Traveller, Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear that this tour was a highlight of your trip. It is especially rewarding to know that Lili made such a positive impression. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and engaging storytelling are qualities we greatly value, and we will be sure to share your kind words with her. She will be very pleased to hear that you enjoyed learning about the areas visited and Icelandic culture. Thank you as well for sharing helpful advice for future travelers regarding meals and snacks. Practical tips such as yours are greatly appreciated by other guests. We sincerely thank you for your recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another adventure in the future. - Arctic Adventures Team
We did the tour with "Mister B", very nice. Obviously places to see, Skogafoss waterfall and Reynisfjara beach spectacular! Plane wreck was a little less worth it. On the way back we stopped to see the Northern Lights! Unfortunately I have to give a little low score because in the program it said that we would pass the Seljalandsfoss waterfall at the beginning of the hike, instead we passed at the end seeing it then in the dark. Ok that is illuminated, but it was not possible to pass behind the waterfall, which was the particular thing to do. Being dark we could not even go to the other waterfall, Gljufrabui, which was present in the program. We also wasted time because the hike united multiple groups, and stayed at the glacier viewpoint an hour and a half (instead of 20 minutes as scheduled) to wait for those who had hiked.
Dear Giulia, Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the tour and that our guide made it a positive experience. We admit that the Tripadvisor tour description doesn’t fully reflect the current itinerary, including the timing and order of some stops. Seasonal factors, like daylight hours in winter, can also affect how certain stops are scheduled. We have shared this with our product team so the information can be updated for future travelers. Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback and bringing these points to our attention. Please contact us directly so we can address your concerns and ensure a positive resolution. Best regards, Arctic Adventures Team
Sometimes, the weather has its own plans. What was meant to be a well-organized Christmas trip quickly turned into a series of cancellations and last-minute changes. One of the places I had longed to visit was dropped from the itinerary due to time constraints. But when I received a sudden notice that my original tour was canceled the night before, I decided to take a chance and book a spontaneous trip to the famous plane wreck site—a place that had always been on my bucket list. Winter in the Arctic is unforgiving. With only a few hours of daylight, every minute counts. I set out early, determined to make the most of the limited time. Despite the chaos and the cold, the day turned out to be unexpectedly beautiful. The sun peeked through the clouds, a rainbow arched across the sky, and the guide shared stories and insights throughout the journey. And then, just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, the Northern Lights appeared—dancing silently across the sky. It felt like a reward for all the setbacks, a reminder that sometimes the most magical moments come when plans fall apart. This trip taught me a valuable lesson: in the Arctic winter, time is precious, and flexibility is key. The aurora borealis is not something you can schedule—it’s a gift you might be lucky enough to receive. Though I lost time and missed a few destinations, I gained something far more meaningful: perspective, spontaneity, and a renewed sense of wonder. Here’s to better planning next time, but also to embracing the unexpected. I’m already dreaming of my next Nordic adventure—hopefully with clearer skies and even brighter lights.
Dear traveler, we are deeply grateful for such a poetic review. We are very happy to hear that the tour you have taken with us was so enjoyable. We hope that the guide's local knowledge and insightful stories were an amazing addition to your experience. Additionally, we are glad to hear that you had a chance to catch the Northern Lights, creating a truly magical experience for you. We are very saddened to hear that your original tour was canceled - unfortunately, the weather is not always on our side, and we need to keep all of our tours up to a high safety standard. We agree, however, that flexibility is key, and we try our best to provide such options for all our participants to ensure that everyone still has an enjoyable experience in Iceland. We will be waiting for your next adventure with us, and wish for it to be as insightful and magical as this one. We will try our best to keep it that way. — Arctic Adventures Team
