Questa esperienza vi consentirà di cogliere la vera essenza di Sorrento. Il punto d'incontro è Piazza Lauro, dove inizieremo costeggiando un tipico agrumeto sorrentino. Raggiungeremo la piazza principale, dedicata al poeta Torquato Tasso, per ammirare uno dei luoghi abbandonati più fotografati al mondo: il "Vallone dei Mulini". Ci addentreremo nei vicoli del centro storico, alla scoperta delle antiche tradizioni artigiane e dei monumenti più importanti tra cui: la cattedrale, il "Sedil Dominova" e il chiostro di San Francesco. Dopo aver ammirato la tipica "cartolina" sul golfo di Napoli, proseguiremo la nostra esperienza raggiungendo l'antico borgo di pescatori di Marina Grande ( passeggiata a discrezione del cliente). L'atmosfera senza tempo e i colori pastello di questo luogo suggestivo, saranno la giusta conclusione della visita di Sorrento. Vi stiamo aspettando e come recitava un famoso spot televisivo: "Sorrento, arrivi da turista e riparti come uno di famiglia".

Itinerario
Inizieremo il nostro tour ammirando un tipico agrumeto sorrentino.
Lasciandoci alle spalle la moderna Piazza Lauro, procederemo per la piazza principale di Sorrento: Piazza Tasso, che prende il nome dallo scrittore sorrentino Torquato Tasso.
Ci fermeremo ad ammirare il Vallone dei Mulini, il luogo tra i più fotografati a livello mondiale.
Visiteremo la chiesa cattedrale di Sorrento, dedicata ai Santi Filippo e Giacomo. Ospita un meraviglioso esempio di presepe napoletano del 1700, il battistero dove è stato battezzato Torquato Tasso e tanti capolavori della tarsia del legno.
La villa comunale di Sorrento è un punto panoramico di eccellenza sul Golfo di Napoli. Qui non può mancare uno stop fotografico.
Visiteremo il chiostro medievale (XIII secolo), attiguo alla chiesa di San Francesco. Oggi il chiostro è sede dei matrimoni civili di turisti internazionali.
Passeggeremo per l'antico corso principale di Sorrento e tra negozi e antichi palazzi nobiliari ci sarà occasione di degustare il limoncello e altri prodotti tipici.
Tra i luoghi simbolo di Sorrento, il Sedile Dominova è una costruzione medievale magnificamente conservata.
La fine della nostra esperienza, sarà nel caratteristico borgo di Marina Grande, dove si respira la tradizione marinara della costiera sorrentina (a discrezione del cliente).

Lovely guide, not the most fun tour for kids however. If I had done this tour alone it wouldn’t make me want to visit more of sorrento or come back but maybe I’ve been spoilt with some great tour guides in my 10 days around the med this summer

Valeria was the ideal tour guide. She tailored the tour to our needs and preferences, giving us ann exceptional overview of Sorrento’s history, commerce, food specialities, geography, main attractions, and special places to get away from the crowds. We met artisans and saw crafts unique to Sorrento, as well as toured special places the town had to offer, ending with a magnificent view of the Amalfi coast and its nearby islands. A massive part of what made it so unforgettable was our incredible guide, Simone! From the very beginning, Simone’s energy and enthusiasm were completely contagious. Instead of just rattling off dry dates and facts, she shared fascinating anecdotes and local insights that kept everyone captivated the entire time.
