I booked for a corporate group & they all loved it. I was promised they were guaranteed to see turtles & they sure did, swimming up close with plenty of turtles!

We recently went snorkeling at Mirissa Beach, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka trip. A special mention has to go to Weranga, who made the experience exceptional. He is an excellent diver and a very strong swimmer, and his confidence and familiarity with the waters immediately made us feel comfortable. He was patient, attentive and genuinely keen on making sure we had a great experience rather than simply taking us through a routine snorkeling trip. The absolute highlight was spotting two sea turtles during our time in the water. Seeing even one turtle in its natural environment would have been special, but getting to see two made the experience unforgettable. Weranga did a fantastic job of guiding us and helping us make the most of the sighting without taking away from the natural experience. The waters around Mirissa are beautiful, and seeing the marine life beneath the surface gives you an entirely different perspective of Sri Lanka’s southern coast. The whole experience felt relaxed and unhurried, which we really appreciated. If you’re planning to snorkel in Mirissa, I would definitely recommend doing it with Weranga. His swimming and diving skills, knowledge of the water and calm nature made all the difference. Two turtles, beautiful waters and a brilliant guide — easily one of our most memorable experiences in Sri Lanka.

Warenga was an absolute star who kept determinedly searching for more turtles, fish and sights for us during our snorkeling experience. We went at 7:30am in late September (deemed off season) but we still got lucky and saw two green turtles and a modern sea turtle, as well as barracuda, angel fish and an abundance of other fish. We also felt incredibly safe as Warenga had a float to keep us together in the slightly choppy Indian Ocean. A life time ambition come true. Loved it and would highly recommend.

It was a great experience for a first-timer and solo traveller like me! 🤿🌊 Mr. Weranga was so nice, patient, and made sure I was comfortable and okay throughout the whole experience. I really enjoyed snorkeling and seeing the beautiful marine life in Mirissa. Definitely a memorable experience and highly recommended! ⭐️

It was a fun experience which the kids loved! We saw turtles, coral and huge shoals of silver fish. The guide was very patient and friendly - would definitely recommend! Would of gone back for more but we left mirissa the next morning.

The experience was fantastic. Although the weather conditions were not ideal, I was still fortunate enough to spot a turtle and follow her for several minutes, which was a wonderful experience. The guide made a great effort to find more turtles, but the sea was rough and the underwater visibility was limited, making it difficult. I really appreciated his dedication and persistence despite the challenging conditions. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I was impressed by the guide's commitment to ensuring we had the best possible encounter with the wildlife.

My friend and i wanted to do Turtle snorkeling and it was amazing. One good experience. The guide Mahi took care of us really well and took amazing pictures and videos for us. 💯 recommend it !!!
