Il sentiero naturalistico densamente boscoso di Roaring Fork Motor è un sentiero solitario. Il viaggio su per la montagna ti ricompenserà sicuramente con uno scenario mozzafiato delle Smoky Mountains. Lungo il percorso farai delle soste per goderti le viste spettacolari. Imparerai tutto sui boschi che compongono le Smoky Mountains: castagni, querce bianche, magnolie, aceri e tulipani. Dopo aver raggiunto l'apice, inizierai la tua discesa. Questa era la frontiera americana negli anni '30 e '40 dell'Ottocento. Rifugi e piante di tronchi rimangono di quasi 200 anni di storia!

David was our tour guide, and he was absolutely amazing! He provided so much knowledge during our tour of the area, and best places to check out that people don’t know about. He was funny and kind and the whole group loved him. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Definitely will be back again for another tour with him.

Randy was a wonderful guide. Had so much knowledge. He was also very kind and helpful with one of our travelers with limited mobility. It was a nice break for my husband to be able to enjoy the view instead of driving. I highly recommend.

We were so excited for this tour. Our guide Randy was knowledge about the area and kept us entertained with stories and tidbits of info throughout. You only get to see a small part of the smokies hence the 4 stars. But the parts you see are cool and he was nice enough to take photos for people too.

The tour was disappointing. The drive could have been done in any car so didn’t give the jeep experience. Worse the speaker they tried to use didn’t work so 2 out of the 3 families on the tour couldn’t hear the guides. We also didn’t stop at the overlooks due to lack of parking even so the guides could have better positioned the vehicle for views and pictures.

Disappointed. We couldn’t hear the guide on his mic. When we asked him to turn it up he did and told us he maxed it out. We still couldn’t hear. He never asked again. We heard nothing on the entire trip.
