Partiamo dal punto d'incontro di Potsdamer Platz per raggiungere con la S-Bahn Nordbahnhof, una delle stazioni fantasma rimasta chiusa per quasi trent'anni dopo la costruzione del Muro.
Al Memoriale del Muro di Berlino in Bernauerstrasse, rivivremo il trauma della separazione, visitando una parte originale della striscia della morte, la terra di nessuno. Parleremo dei tentativi di fuga, dei tunnel scavati a questo scopo e delle storie terribili di coloro che hanno perso la vita a causa del Muro.
Sulla famosa Alexanderplatz, di fronte agli edifici rappresentativi della Berlino socialista, rivivremo le emozioni delle migliaia di persone che, attraverso manifestazioni pacifiche, sfidarono la repressione politica della STASI, innescando il "crollo" del Muro e la successiva disintegrazione del blocco sovietico .

Very informative tour with Arthur, an extremely pleasant guide who is very knowledgeable on the subject. Arthur managed to capture our attention throughout the tour, with information allowing us to gauge that history is not simplistic and that nuances are essential.
