Scopri il Colosseo a Roma prima di percorrere le strade del Foro Romano sulle orme di senatori e imperatori. Dopo aver incontrato il resto del tuo gruppo e la tua guida esperta e amichevole, camminerai verso l'ingresso mentre impari a conoscere l'architettura dello stadio. Una volta dentro, imparerai tutto sulle incredibili vite dei gladiatori e sulle tante (e letali) armi che usavano, il tutto mentre ti immergi nell'incredibile vista dai migliori punti panoramici dell'arena. Cammineremo quindi intorno alla colossale struttura in cui gli antichi romani erano soliti tifare per i loro eroi, giocare d'azzardo e ammirare gli animali esotici provenienti da tutte le parti dell'enorme Impero Romano.
Dopo aver passeggiato all'interno dell'edificio, ammirandolo dalle sue tante e diverse angolazioni, il tour inizierà con una breve passeggiata verso il Foro Romano. Il foro era il cuore e l'anima dell'antica città con molti dei suoi più importanti templi ed edifici politici, e sebbene la maggior parte sia in rovina, è ancora uno dei parchi archeologici visivamente più impressionanti del mondo. In questa incredibile passeggiata attraverso la storia il tour esplorerà a fondo i siti più importanti e spettacolari. Entrando vicino al Senato, il gruppo prosegue oltre i tribunali, gli archi trionfali e gli splendidi templi, tra cui il famoso tempio di Giulio Cesare dove furono deposte le sue ceneri.
Continueremo il tour risalendo i dolci pendii del Colle Palatino dove i ricchi romani vivevano nelle loro lussuose ville, mentre venivano serviti e riveriti. Sotto i pini a ombrello, che punteggiano il paesaggio, esploreremo il palazzo degli imperatori, dimora delle persone più potenti del mondo antico. Our family had an exceptional experience on the Small Group VIP Tour. Our guide, Micea, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. He shared fascinating historical insights along with hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. This was especially meaningful for our family because my husband studied archaeology and is very knowledgeable about Roman gladiator history. Angela was a wonderful knowledgeable guide who effortlessly led us through crowds and made it seem way less crowded than it was. She made the three hour tour fun and enjoyable for our two kids (10yo and 12yo). She is an art history buff who taught us all a lot! Would definitely recommend.

This was an excellent & informative tour with a knowledgable guide with clear passion of history. He was attentive to all in our group (this was our kids and one other family). Wonderful tour of the Colluseum and the forum and ancient Rome. The guide has lived in Rome since 1996 and studied history there and knew a lot to tell. At the Roma vacations office we asked about real Italian restaurants in the area instead of those fake tourist businesses where no Italian works. We got a good tip and had a great meal.
