Itinerario
Dopo aver incontrato la nostra guida, la prima sosta gastronomica è in un luogo nel centro storico della città di Corfù chiamato "il santo" dove avremo un tipico brunch greco. Il brunch comprende la tradizionale torta di formaggio greco, torta di spinaci, torta di crema pasticcera, birra allo zenzero, baklava e poi il famoso yogurt greco.
La nostra seconda sosta gastronomica introdurrà ai nostri visitatori il frutto del kumquat locale. Proveremo il liquore kumquat, le delizie greche aromatizzate al kumquat e il "mandolato" un dolce corfiota a base di torrone.
L'unico negozio di latticini tradizionale rimasto nella città di Corfù dal 1950 che avrai l'opportunità di assaggiare il famoso burro fresco corfiota che fanno ogni giorno, un budino e un galaktoboureko (torta alla crema).
In questa tappa avremo la possibilità di presentare ai nostri visitatori i primi ingredienti e spezie del cibo corfiota e fare una degustazione di olio d'oliva poiché l'olio d'oliva è stato il principale reddito di Corfù per secoli. Il proprietario del negozio ci darà consigli e alcuni consigli segreti per cucinare alcuni dei famosi cibi greci.
Il nostro tour finirà in un ristorante dove pranzeremo / ceneremo seduti. Proveremo il cibo tradizionale locale di Pastitsada e Sofrito. I nostri clienti proveranno ouzo o vino e potranno rilassarsi gustando un pasto alla fine del tour.

We had such a wonderful walking gastronomy tour with Ariti in Corfu! She shared such interesting information about the city's history and the lives of the locals and we ate ourselves silly! Electra is an amazing guide. We were on a 7 day cruise and her tour was the highlight of our vacation. The tour included some history and ALOT of great food and recommendations. If you are unsure, just book it, you will not regret it. (Come hungry, there is alot of food and it all tastes great)

This experience you must subdue yourself. It is a really good mix of food and history. For example, how history has put its mark on Corfu and thus also the gastronomy. Our guide, Alice, was really good at conveying the story in a lively way and the delicacies we got along the way fit into the overall experience. We left there with a feeling of having gotten a better insight into Corfu and an understanding of what it really is like to live there. Good and interesting trip!

Our tour with Nausica was absolutely amazing! We sampled a wonderful variety of foods that are unique to Corfu's culture while strolling through the charming streets of Old Town and learning about its rich history. We had a wonderful evening with our guide Elektra on the walking food tour in Corfu town. We learnt about the history of Corfu while we wandered through the beautiful old town. We stopped to sample food along the way, delicious pastries, meats and cheeses, and sweets before having a meal in a taverna. Elektra was so knowledgeable and great fun to be with. I highly recommended this tour.
