Tour di un giorno in Cinque Terre per piccoli gruppi da Firenze

Yaris made our experience wonderful. Very knowledgable and gave us so much history. Would highly recommend.

Overall the trip was good, but some situational things got in the way. Weather was not perfect, so the boat ride (which gives you the best experience) was not available due to winds/waves. The guide was very good, but logistically 8 adults in a van makes it difficult to hear what the driver is saying unless you are in the front seat with driver. Many of us missed much of Jonathan’s commentary even in the second row of seats… and as we were in third row, we missed all of it. As a result of the boat not operating, we took trains between three of the cities that make up Cinque Terre. It was ok… again not blaming anyone, just a fact of the weather situation. Not really enough time in any one place… to enjoy the scenery and stroll the shops. Wonderful lunch in Vernazza -Gianni Franzi-we didn’t have to wait very long for a table… every dish was delicious. As you would expect in this area, lots of stairs and inclines… worth the climbing, but expect to be tired at the end of the day. We did have a wonderful day. Jonathan was very pleasant and personable and checked in often with all of us.

Beautiful towns. Wear comfortable shoes. Riccardo gave us wonderful insight along the way and the history.

Absolutely wonderful tour! Jonathan our guide was local to the area and very informative and helpful. Lots of walking but so worth it!

Cinque Terre is hard to get to but worth all the trouble. Our driver took us to Monterossa so we could swim and avoid the train.

The tour driver we had was awful and not very friendly. We had 2 small vans and the other van stopped in the morning for a quick coffee and bathroom break as it was a 2 hour drive from Florence to the coast. Our driver said absolutely nothing on the drive in the morning. This tour can be done simply on your own for the price we paid. Take the train from Florence and explore on your own; it will be a much more pleasurable experience

The second stop has the best beaches if you’re going to swim. You only have an hour though. It was a beautiful experience but very crowded. The tour was worth the money if you have a good tour guide who can explain the sites on the 2 1/2 hour drive to the first town.

The tour provides a viable way to see the CT in a day from Florence. Our friendly guide Giovanni made sure the day worked for us without any fuss. For the price paid, we were expecting a dedicated tour boat rather than just joining another 200+ on the local ferry. Also not sure why an unescorted train trip was included but assume many people want the experience. (Not sure why!!) Overall a good day in a beautiful but very touristy part of the world. Expensive for what was provided.

Loved it. This is the third trip that we’ve taken to Cinque Terra over the years. Jonathan has been the best guide by far.

The trip was fantastic, and we were able to see three beautiful villages. Jonathan was a superb tour guide and got us to each location early, which helped us avoid the crowds and make the most of our time. It is a long day with quite a bit of travel and relatively short stops at each destination, but we felt there was enough time to enjoy each one. I would have loved an extra hour in Monterosso swimming in the Mediterranean, and Jonathan said that was an option, but we chose to see all of the villages instead. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and Jonathan’s organization and local knowledge made the day run smoothly.
