LA CASA BLU La Casa Blu è l'universo intimo di Frida Kahlo. Trascorse qui la maggior parte della sua vita, prima con la sua famiglia e, anni dopo, con Diego Rivera. Questo luogo ospitò personalità interessanti, nazionali e straniere, attratte dal magnetismo di entrambi i pittori. Frida e Diego volevano trasformare la loro casa in un museo, per il divertimento di tutti i messicani. Dopo la morte del pittore, l'amico della coppia, il museografo e poeta Carlos Pellicer, progettò la museografia. L'amministrazione fu affidata al Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Museums Trust, annesso alla Banca del Messico e fondato dallo stesso Rivera nel 1957.
Il Museo Anahuacalli è unico. L'unico peccato è che i visitatori internazionali tendono a non arrivare qui prima della terza o quarta visita alla città. Interamente ideato da Diego Rivera, è un ambiente completo per la sua collezione di opere d'arte preispaniche. Ma è anche un tempio in cui celebrare l'architettura, la musica, l'artigianato e il teatro, il tutto in un ambiente naturale accuratamente progettato.

Fraud. We bought tickets and traveled from our country to visit the museum. Upon arrival, we were informed that our reservations were canceled by the operator Y&D Travel, who did not respond to Viator or to us. We were not the only ones in that situation. Unacceptable that they cancel and even worse that they do not show their faces.
Vendor lied and sent me tickets for 45 mins after my start time. Viator hid behind legalese and hung me out to dry.
The Frida Kahlo House is a beautiful place, full of history, and it is definitely worth visiting. Unfortunately, the staff's attitude leaves a lot to be desired: inattentive, arrogant, and with treatment that at times is abusive. It's a shame that this overshadows such a beautiful experience.
Be careful that Viator doesn't cancel your tour at the last minute, reassign you to a different time, and then send you tickets for yet a third time.
I was requesting the tickets 10 days in advance and they sent them the same day. Regarding the visit: Since I had requested a time change, I could not plan that day in advance, waiting for a response. The local operator did not respond to my requests and questions. The support agents were very kind and tried to help me.
Terrible, they did not respect the reserved and paid time. They sent tickets with a different time. We had to modify an entire itinerary.
Never got into the museum as Viator messed up the booking and sent us to the wrong address. So we arrived late and as a result were not allowed in. Very disappointing
Beware. Buy your tickets through the Musuem website. Bought a 10 AM ticket that was later re-issued at 4 PM and then when the confirmation came through it moved to 4:45. Read all the reviews about these Skip the line vendors. Total rip off.
VERY unreliable tour operator. We booked weeks in advance and they canceled a day before our tour with no explanation. Kimds ruined a day of our vacation. AVOID this company.
I booked this tour on the wrong date and politely asked them to reschedule and they ignored me and took my money. For this level of customer service, avoid these folks at all costs.
