Una giornata alla scoperta dei tesori e delle bellezze delle due città più importanti nella Sicilia orientale: Siracusa (Ortigia) e Noto. Scopri il barocco siciliano per respirare la solennità di luoghi senza tempo.

Itinerario
L’escursione inizierà con la visita della Neàpolis a Siracusa, il famoso parco archeologico immerso nel verde. Il sito che ospita tra gli altri anche il Teatro Greco, L’orecchio di Dionisio e le Latomie. La visita durerà un’ora e mezza circa.
Il Tour Siracusa e Noto vi porterà quindi sulla deliziosa penisola di Ortigia. Dalle rovine del Tempio di Apollo comincerà la vostra passeggiata tra le tipiche stradine. Arriverete a Piazza Duomo con la sua bellissima cattedrale bianca “Natività di Maria Santissima“. Chiesa eretta sull’antico tempio greco della dea Atena. La passeggiata continuerà fino alla Fonte Aretusa e al magnifico lungomare. Qui ad Ortigia vi offriremo un ricco snack a base di Tavola calda siciliana, accompagnato da acqua e vino dell’Etna. O, se preferite, avrete un’ora di tempo libero per pranzare in uno dei molti ristoranti caratteristici nei vicoli della città.
Dopo pranzo proseguirete verso Noto, ultima tappa del Tour Siracusa e Noto. Cittadina gioiello del barocco siciliano, patrimonio dell’Unesco insieme ad altri siti della Val di Noto. Noto è considerata un “museo a cielo aperto“. Qui visiterete il suo Corso principale entrando dalla Porta Reale. Proseguendo arriverete alla Chiesa di San Francesco dalla maestosa gradinata e al Palazzo Ducezio, locato nella Piazza del Municipio. Ammirando le molte chiese ed i numerosi palazzi non si possono non visitare la Chiesa Madre con il palazzo Vescovile e la Chiesa di San Salvatore. Immancabile anche la visita al Palazzo Nicolaci con i suoi balconi ornamentali simbolo del barocco netino. Noto è considerata capitale del barocco siciliano e visitarla significa respirare la solennità di un luogo senza tempo che sembra essersi fissato nella morbida pietra locale.

Bus tickets bought from traveling.com site were easier to understand and included maps showing bus stop locations. The Interbus ticketing process was more confusing and had no maps of the stops.
Giovanni was extremely knowledgeable about the area and places visited and was a good communicator. He ensured that any questions were answered and kept things interesting during the ride. Ortigia and Noto are beautiful towns with interesting architecture and history.
Super patients and professionals is not the first time we rely on them and as always we remain satisfied we recommend them.
A very fulfilling experience. Experienced Syracuse, Ortigia and Notto at a calm pace filling-in the amazing cities and good vibes.
An excellent day trip. Lots of history and beautiful architecture. Our guide Danilo was exceptional. He was very informative and worked hard to please everyone in two languages. He was very knowledgeable. We visited the ruins at Neapolis then Ortigia where we walked the town and had some free time. Finally we went to the picturesque town of Noto. Lunch was good at a modest restaurant in Syracuse.
Even though the places we visit were good, our driver left us without guidance for an hour before we realize that due to the G7 event he cannot park the van. So we had to walk ourselves Ortigia with no guide to explain the highlights of the city.
The trip was well organized. Syracuse was very interesting especially considering the combination of old Greek and Roman ruins with new sculptures. Ortigia had great architecture as well. Particularly like all the numerous Baroque style churches.
Highly recommend this company and the tour. Very informative with enough free time to visit places on your own. Giovanni was an excellent guide. Wished we would have booked all our trips through them.
The trip was very pleasant, all the cities are worth-visiting. From my perspective, what can be improved is having a guide that shares more infos (as the description states there is a polyglot guide included). In the tour, we had a driver that would hand us printed information, leave us in specific places and pick us after some time.
The tour was excellent. Teresa was more than helpful, kind and patient despite being out of hours. A person of heart and very professionale.As before the experience of the day trip was top. Maybe they were all so available. I would put more stars but there are no☺️
