Vasco was a great source of knowledge of the area. Amazingly beautiful. Our family enjoyed the experience. Thank you
Overall, the trip was very good. Appreciated that we could add the admission tickets in advance (e.g., don't select no-tickets option unless you have them). This is critical to do so, as the line on site to get them was very long. Also, in Lisbon fashion, there is ALOT of hilly walking. We would have appreciated water being available, as the line to buy water at the Castle was very long. Despite these items, the trip was very good and our guide Lorenzo was first rate--extremely knowledgeable and polite!
We used Easy Escape Tours to fona small group tour of Pens Palace Amazing from beginning to end! The tour guide Bart made it so fun & informative! Bring water & good climbing shoes!
The tour is really beautiful; everything is well explained and interesting! The guide is truly kind and attentive to the group. This made our experience unforgettable!
Nous sommes ravis que la visite vous ait plu et que l'attention de notre guide ait rendu votre expérience inoubliable .En espérant vous revoir bientôt à Lisbonne
I chose this one as it didn’t try sound as rushed, trying to also fit in Cascais and I’m glad I did. It was still a very long tour. I enjoyed each stop and our guide Marta was friendly and knowledgeable. However, there was some disorganization that slowed things down a bit. Not giving specifics about what to look for at the meet up point - you’re told to meet by the statue in the park. When I arrived, I sent a message saying I didn’t see a sign or bus with the tour name and the response I received was that check in started at 9:50. Well that’s only 10 minutes before the tour if I wasn’t for sure in the right spot and it would have been nice to find a restroom first after journeying to get there. Several of us were waiting in the shade of the statue and from there could not see the flag for the check in across the street on the other side of the bus. Glad I walked across the street to check because at no point could you see them from the statue. Once on the tour, Marta was constantly having to count participants but did not seem to have a way of knowing who was missing or connecting with them. Meanwhile I did a simple food tour later in the week where our guide messaged us through WhatsApp easily giving instructions and tips. A tad more organization on the Sintra tour like this may have kept us on schedule a little better. Overall it was a great tour of 2 sites plus the town and I would recommend them to others.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the pace of the tour, the stops, and Marta's knowledge. We apologize for the confusion at the meeting point and the check-in delays. Your suggestions about clearer arrival instructions and using tools like WhatsApp for better group coordination are excellent. We will share this directly with our management team to improve our organization and communication.Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you again under even smoother circumstances.
This is a tour that one shouldnt miss. Sintra, the two places are magical. It would have been difficult to tour these places without being in a tour group. I am so glad i booked this tour. Additionally Magdalena (sorry if i spelt your name incorrectly) and Fernando of Boost Tours were fabulous. Magdalena was a very experienced tour guide by demonstrating her knowledge of history and culture. Thank you very much. I truly enjoyed this tour with you. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are so pleased to hear that you had a great experience in Sintra .We will be sure to pass your kind words along to Madalena and Fernando .We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future
Very physical tour. Steep uphill climbs. And a first stop it was close to a mile uphill. At our second stop, there was a half mile incline. In addition at the second stop, there will wind the uphill paths without handrails. This is not a tour for those who are not truly physically able to do it. They should’ve been noted in the . It wasn’t. Our tour guide was brand new and was not native to Portugal and as such, we had difficulty and understanding her at times. We did have a mentor Leonora, who was very kind and knowledgeable. She had the patience to work with us to get up the hills and be successful in our journey. Our driver unfortunately, in backing out, hit one of our people in the tour. Thankfully, he was fine. Finally, after the tour is over, they dropped us off in an area where there was no taxi cabs, and no real guidance as to where to find them. Have we not met a young man who called the cab company we would’ve been lost. Poorly executed.
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the safety issues and the level of difficulty you experienced. While our tour description does state that the itinerary involves significant walking up and downhill perhaps is not enough .We are addressing the driver incident directly to ensure strict vehicle safety protocols. Although the drop-off location is fixed, our guides will provide clear guidance on how to find nearby taxis easily. We are glad Leonora’s patience helped you succeed, and we will pass your praise to her.
Fantastic day , loved it , great amount of time at each stop . Amazing views, beautiful palaces and gardens. Very interesting . A bit of uphill walking , but so worth it .
Loved seeing Sintra. The bus ride was very comfortable, and once there, we had some time to stroll around and get a coffee before visiting Quinta de Regaleira. It’s a fascinating and beautiful place to visit. We especially loved visiting the Initiation Well. Afterwards, we got lunch on our own, and then traveled to the castle/monastery at the top of the mountain. We all agreed it would be worth staying in Sintra overnight to explore more. Be aware—this tour was described as requiring moderate physical fitness; however, the walkways are steep with uneven surfaces and lots of steep steps. Most of us on the tour agreed that it should be described as moderate to strenuous. Highly recommend!
Nickola gave a good tour of the history and artistry of everything . It was a shared language tour so half the time spent in another language not undérstood (and side of conversation). The van was uncomfortable and he drove slow in traffic. I didn't appreciate a story about a body organ he said had unknown function other than for the soul when in fact it secretes a hormone but many tell stories. All in all it was a fun day at Sintra. Be prepared for an old van with bad suspension and a rough manual transmission.
Hello Larry ,Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed Sintra and Nickola's historical knowledge. We apologize for the discomfort caused by the van and the shared-language format. Your comments about the vehicle's suspension and transmission have been sent straight to our maintenance team. We will also review the tour commentary to ensure all shared facts are scientifically accurate. We appreciate your honesty and hope to provide you with a much smoother experience next time!
