We kayaked for two days with Live Water tours and both days were fantastic. Our guide, Tania was not only knowledgeable about the wildlife and plants, but also some of the history of the area. she was also very friendly and entertaining! We visited at a time when the manatees were not there, but we still saw so much. We would definitely recommend Live Water Experiences!
Tania made this kayak trip so amazing. She is very knowledgeable and pointed out fish, birds, otters and all the amazing wildlife we would have otherwise paddled right past. Her website is amazing and her instructions and suggestions before the trip were so easy to follow. She is a wonderful guide and we had such a beautiful day 🌞 thank you and we will be booking again
The small group was the best! You can actually hear the guide and she is very knowledgeable about local wildlife. We saw everything! Manatees, alligators, many types of bird and fish! It was so much fun! I would only use this group in the future! We had a blast. I chose this company because I can’t hear the guide if I’m near the back of a big group and this was perfect! Also her kayaks are easy to navigate even for beginners. She is very patient and makes sure everyone is coming along ok. She took her time with us! It was wonderful!
Tania was an incredible guide. She knew the waterway so well, and she took us to sights we would not have seen or noticed without her expertise. We would strongly suggest LiveWater for anyone looking to experience all Silver Springs has to offer.
WOW!!! Must do! This was a magical, up close, educational- while not feeling too educational, super fun kayak trip through pristine spring water teeming with gobs of wildlife. My Florida family, with five kids ranging in ages from 3-13, made such epic memories. Highly recommend. Tania is so knowledgeable, and it is obvious that she loves what she does. She was patient and encouraging with our 8 year-old who had never kayaked before. He left feeling like a pro. If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not 😁, we highly recommend you make the trip.
Tania is an amazing guide and we highly recommend this tour! The small group experience was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Tania was very respectful and informative about the history of this absolutely breathtaking park. Although there is never a guaratee of seeing wildlife in their natural habitat Tania has an excellent eye for spotting them! She also goes above and beyond taking beautiful photos and videos to share with you so that you can just relax and enjoy the tour! We've done the trendy clear kayak and will never go back. You can not see anything through them with all the scratches and feel like they're going to crack when you get in and out of them. These kayaks are very sturdy, easy to navigate and much more comfortable! Not to mention more eco-friendly. Thank you Tania for the amazing experience!!
Tania was a great guide, and the small group is really nice. It was a cool morning but still saw monkeys, turtles, alligator and various birds. Highly recommend. And she took great some great pictures. Would definitely do again!
Tania was an amazing guide and super easy to work with. It was great just having a small group of people. She is super knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to communicate with. We had an awesome time and got to see lots of manatees and other wildlife.
We were deciding whether we should rent a kayak and explore the river on our own, or go with a guide. When we read the description on LiveWaters website, it sounded like a very interesting experience. We’re so glad that we took the tour with them. Steve was our guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the native wildlife, the river and springs, and the history of the park, itself. We learned so much from him. He’s also super friendly and kind. He even shared pictures that he took during our tour with us. I highly recommend taking a tour with LiveWater. It’s money well spent.
I can't recommend this tour enough! Tania is such a remarkable person – deeply eco-conscious and dedicated to sustainability, especially when it comes to preservation of Silver Springs. We had a fantastic time kayaking with her, spotting manatees, birds, turtles, and fish, all while learning about the rich history of the local flora and fauna. Tania's communication was excellent, balancing professionalism with a relaxed, friendly approach. Her connection to nature is clear, and as someone who cares deeply about wildlife, this tour was by far the highlight of our six-day trip to Central Florida. We had booked a few other tours, but they left us feeling like the wildlife was being exploited or rushed. This tour, on the other hand, was calm, respectful, and focused on the well-being of the animals. Tania’s diverse life experiences—having lived across Canada and the U.S. and traveled extensively—brought a unique perspective to the tour. She pointed out native species such as gar and tilapia, which really enriched our understanding of the area. To top it off, Tania took photos and videos throughout the tour, so we have beautiful memories to look back on. If you’re looking for a genuine, educational, and memorable eco-tour, this is the one. I can't recommend it enough – it was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip.
