Galleggiate tra due placche tettoniche, tra i continenti, nell’acqua più limpida del mondo (100m + visibilità) ammirando i colori ipnotici di questo mondo sottomarino. Non è necessario essere subacquei certificati per vivere l’acqua al meglio! Lo snorkeling a Silfra è adatto a chiunque si senta a proprio agio in acqua e sappia nuotare. Questa attività per famiglie è adatta ai bambini dai 12 anni in su. Il tour di snorkeling di Silfra viene effettuato in muta asciutta, aiutandoti a rimanere caldo e asciutto all'interno della muta mentre nuoti nell'acqua fredda e cristallina. Silfra si trova nel Parco Nazionale Thingvellir che è un sito patrimonio dell'Unesco. Il bellissimo parco è una delle meraviglie sul famoso percorso del Golden Circle.

Itinerario
Verremo a prendervi a Reykjavík e vi porteremo al Parco Nazionale di Thingvellir. Durante il viaggio di un'ora, la guida ti fornirà informazioni sulla geologia e sulla storia culturale uniche dell'Islanda e di Silfra, nonché sull'area circostante del sito patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Una volta formato il tuo gruppo di massimo 6 persone, la guida ti fornirà la muta stagna, il sottomuta caldo e l'attrezzatura per lo snorkeling. La tua guida spiegherà come utilizzare questa attrezzatura e come assicurarti di stare al caldo durante il tour. Puoi cambiarti nel nostro furgone fasciatoio riscaldato e la guida ti aiuterà a indossare tutta l'attrezzatura. Si consiglia di indossare biancheria intima lunga e calzini spessi. Il briefing e la preparazione durano circa 1 ora. Camminerai per 5 minuti fino a Silfra e inizierai il tuo tour di snorkeling di 30-45 minuti nella Silfra Hall, nella Cattedrale di Silfra e nella Laguna di Silfra. Dopo aver fatto snorkeling nell'acqua fredda, ti riscaldiamo con cioccolata calda e biscotti. Questa è la tua occasione per chattare con la tua guida.

Il servizio di prelievo è disponibile solo all'interno del centro di Reykjavik in hotel e fermate degli autobus selezionati. Assicurati di tenerne conto prima di prenotare il tuo tour. Se soggiorni fuori dall'area centrale di Reykjavik, inviaci un messaggio e ti diremo dove incontrarci. Si prega di notare che non effettuiamo pickup al di fuori di Reykjavik.

- Le mute stagne vengono indossate sopra i propri vestiti. Si consiglia di indossare biancheria intima termica lunga e calze di lana spessa come strato di base sotto la muta stagna
- L'altezza minima è 4ft 11in (150cm). Il peso minimo è di 100 libbre (45 kg).
- L'altezza e il peso massimi sono 6ft7in (200cm) e 264lbs (120kg).
- I partecipanti devono essere confortevoli in acqua e in grado di nuotare, adattarsi fisicamente e in buona salute
- Si prega di notare che le mute stagne possono a volte sembrare piuttosto strette e costrittive

Our snorkel guide was Jenny, she was absolutely amazing and took care of every single need we had during this experience. She made sure our gear was on correctly and that our masks and snorkel were fitted properly! This was a big deal for me because nothing ever fits me right and she took the time to make me feel at ease with the whole process of dry suit and wetsuit! My daughter is a geologist/teacher and this has been on her bucket list for over 20 years! She and her husband and I had the best time and would highly recommend it! Thank you, thank you!
Great experience not to be missed. Changing facilities leave a lot to be desired (back of a van). Other than that would I recommend, in a heartbeat.
Wow... incredible experience. Once in a lifetime. You did not need any snorkeling experience or even know how to swim. You float very easily. They pick you up in a warm bus, drive you to the place, you get fitted for your dry suit and they help you put it on, then you waddle down to the water. Even with the dry suit, it was FREEZING so definitely wear WARM layers underneath and thick socks. My suit did not leak anywhere except around my head but not enough for it to be a problem. The water is incredibly clear and calm. No fish or anything but you can see forever. It is very cool. You have an area inside the bus to change out of your wet clothes if needed and bundle up and it is heated. They served hot chocolate afterwards and the pictures turned out SO cool. Loved the experience.
Wow! What an incredible experience! The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful from pick up to drop off. We were given all the equipment needed and received excellent safety guidance prior to entering the water. Shout out to Quim, our snorkeling guide. One guy in our group of 6 was struggling/panicking a bit. Quim was so patient, reassuring and kind. He problem solved on the fly and gave us all an experience we’ll never forget. Quim also took some outstanding pictures that I’ve shared with anyone who will look!!
I had an excellent time with James the pick up from my hotel stop was easy and the instructions on site for snorkeling were clear and the instructors did a great job of securing my dry suit. It was an unforgettable memory.
A once in a lifetime experience would highly recommend it. Our driver James was amazing and so lovely. For the Snorkelling I was in Konrads group and he made me feel so comfortably especially since i’ve never been snorkelling before. The weather wasn’t the best but the guides were outstanding with making sure we were all safe and calm when going into the water and after. If you’re going to Iceland i’d most definitely book this,, the best experience!
This was one of the best things we did in Iceland. The pick-up was smooth, small group, no drama. Our guide was calm and reassuring and you felt very safe the whole time. Yes, it’s freezing. You know that going in. But once you’re floating there, it’s just surreal. The water clarity is unreal. It genuinely feels like you’re flying. Floating between tectonic plates is not something you do every day and it really did feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Expensive, yes. Worth it, absolutely.
What a great experience! Snorkeling between the tectonic plates was amazing. The guides were amazing, my wife was a little nervous, but they assured her it would be great. We went in February and thankfully it was warm outside, about 34 Fahrenheit. The coldest part was waiting to change into the dry suit. Once in the water it was comfortable in the dry suit.
It was great snorkeling! If you are uncomfortable with tight clothes the dry suit is very tight around the neck and hands. I was worried about being cold but in the end, only my hands were cold.
