Viator did not deliver the promotional rate promised. The tour guide and the tour were fine; I wish that I booked directly with the tour provider. The reason I was given for not getting promotion was total “ BS”
This was a great way to see two beautiful Tuscan towns without having to rent a car AND a nice lunch at a beautiful winery in between stops. But what made the trip most enjoyable was our guide, Lorenzo! He was passionate and knowledgeable about the area, laid back and humorous throughout the day. He was also quietly attentive- getting up on the bus ride and checking to be sure everyone was good, present in the background during lunch making sure everyone was happy, providing water on the bus. And speaking of the bus, Francesco our driver was a professional!! Well done Francesco navigating some tough terrain. Also, it was small group: 15 people compared to 80 is absolutely worth the extra money…small bus as well. THANK YOU FOR AN ENJOYABLE AND MEMORABLE DAY Francesco and Lorenzo!
This tour was fantastic and worth every penny. Our guide Allesia was super knowledgeable and friendly. The driver Sergio was great too.
Our 2 week Italy family vacation was amazing; but, this experience with Lorenzo as our guide and Nino as our driver was truly extraordinary and easily the highlight of our trip. Lorenzo led us effortlessly through each town with such humor and casual calmness, all while punctuating our journey with fascinating and engaging history. Nino drove us to each location with the kind of calm and comfort that allowed for both restful repose and an opportunity to reflect and share our delight with one another! This will be a must do for any future Europe trip!!
Excellent tour of Siena by Catherine and free time in San Gimiagno with a fun wine tasting and lunch. We were a small group which made it more enjoyable. Alessio was a fantastic driver and guide providing great information as we drove from place to place. The van was very comfortable and water was provided which came in handy on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this tour and Alessio as your guide!
Do it! We throughly enjoyed this tour (two adults and one 17 year old) . Our driver, ACessio, was fantastic! The van was very comfortable with only 8 passengers. The wine tasting & lunch was great & the views were spectacular. The tour of Siena was fascinating & Christina did a great job. We would highly recommend!
This trip is well worth the cost. The guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of Siena and San Gimignano. The Length of the visit and free time in both towns was just right allowing us to walk around briefly and do some shopping. The stop for lunch at the Vineyard was amazing. The staff were nice and friendly and the three course serving at lunch was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour for both couples or families.

A great day! Our guide, Lorenzo, was charming, knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. Our driver, Mike, masterfully navigated the bus through tiny streets. The winery lunch was delicious and handled dietary restrictions well. It was a good blend of structured tour and free time. I’d highly recommend this tour.
Our day started off great when we met our driver for the day, Alessio. He was friendly, pleasant and explained how the day was going to roll out. We appreciated the cold water he provided for the trip! Our tour guide in Sienna, Christine?, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of Sienna and provided an informative tour. Lunch and wine tasting at Tenuta Di Mensanello was informative and entertaining! Food and wine delish! We appreciated free time in San Giagmano to explore on our own! Great group to travel with and enjoyed the small group experience! Highly recommend!
