This was such an amazing experience, this is something my husband has wanted to do for ages, and i think it out done all his expectations. I was a little nervous to do this at first but once on the boat the crew make you feel confident and i got in the water with no nerves, so glad i did. the experience was incredible. all the crew make it fun and really interact with you giving you information about the sharks and the area. They are very knowledgably. The meeting point was nice having tea and coffee on arrival making you feel relaxed and welcomed. The price of the experience i felt was good value and worth every penny. I did get quite sick after going in to the water a combination of swallowing to much sea water and sea sickness, but staff were great and really looked after me. I was just really embarrassed. you can have a shower back at the office after which were really warm, just what you need after being in the cold sea. Although the wet suits that are provided do keep you warm in the water and with all the adrenaline flowing you do not notice the cold temp of the water. would highly recommend the best experience ever.

This is a bucket list must-do! If you thought this wasn't the type of activity you would ever contemplate, I am here to tell you this one is for you! Lindy was extremely responsive to all our questions when we first called to schedule. The entire crew was amazing, funny, and made everyone feel at ease. We had different levels on our boat, including those who had never done anything similar. Everyone had a great time, and we got some amazing "up close and personal" shark pictures to show for it! When we got back to shore, hot showers and towels were waiting for us. Everyone can get a port shot, but you will be walking away with a lifetime experience. BOOK NOW

What an incredible experience from start to finish! I booked this as a surprise for my husband and ended up joining him, despite being absolutely terrified. I'm so glad I did because it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. We arranged transfers, and from the moment Warren picked us up, we knew we were in great hands. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, sharing fascinating information about the areas we drove through, explaining exactly what to expect from the day, and entertaining us with great stories along the way. He really set the tone for an amazing adventure. When we arrived at the dive centre, every member of the team was welcoming, informative, and, most importantly, encouraging. They made us feel safe, prepared, and excited for what was ahead. The crew out on the boat were just as fantastic—professional, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Yes, the water was freezing, but the moment we came face-to-face with these magnificent sharks, the cold and my fear completely disappeared. Seeing these incredible animals up close in their natural environment was an experience I'll never forget. A huge thank you to everyone at Shark Explorers for making the entire day so special. If you're sitting on the fence about doing this, stop thinking about it and just jump in—you absolutely will not regret it. It's an unforgettable adventure and one I'd recommend to everyone!

Shark explorers made the whole experience fantastic. Captain Nina, Jason and Ernest were super friendly, very professional and very knowledgeable. Even though you're dealing with 3.5 metre sharks you felt completely safe at all times. You must do it, proper bucket list item!

11/10 experience, a warm welcome on arrival and we got to see seals and humpback whales on the way out to the dive site. The Bronze Whaler sharks were big and were plentiful and the crew did a great job at attracting them to the cage for a very close encounter. We also opted to pay to use their GoPro camera and we got some brilliant footage. Thanks to Ernest and the rest of the crew for a truly memorable experience.

Absolutely lovely group and experience! They were so much fun and enthusiastic!! The sharks were magical! I didn't want to get out.

I was let down by another provider and didn’t realise this company was close to where I was staying I contacted them at 9pm the day before and they saved the day! One of the best experiences I have had in my life, great crew and captain couldn’t do enough for us very accommodating, we seen about a dozen different sharks some of them the size of the cage! It was brilliant remember it for life, really made my visit to South Africa rememberable,
