Un tempo centro commerciale di Shanghai 100 anni fa, oggi rimane vivace con negozi e negozi. Scopri il primo grande magazzino cinese e le sue iniziative pionieristiche di quell'epoca
Visita 2 ristoranti tradizionali. Prima tappa è un ristorante di frittelle all'uovo e dolci di riso, un marchio dal 1875. Assaggia i dolci di riso glutinoso morbido e gommoso di un ristorante amato che è stato un punto fermo su Nanjing Road per oltre 100 anni. Con una miscela perfetta di fagioli rossi dolci e ripieni di sesamo nocciola, ogni boccone è una deliziosa combinazione di sapori. Da non perdere il loro pancake Cinese su ordinazione, abbinato a una tazza di latte di soia. Zoe with Eastbound and Beyond was amazing!! I’ve been on several food tours and this one was different. Our guide, Zoe, was friendly and knowledgeable. She felt more like a friend showing us around her city. She even set up an experience to make our own dumpling, which was harder than it looked. The best part about tour was there was no selling. We didn’t end up in a place that was “recommended” we “try” something, ie. buy from their partners. It was strictly about the food and the food was fantastic. Thanks, Zoe for highlighting the food and making our stay in Shanghai memorable.

We had a fantastic private walking food tour in Shanghai with Wen Jie, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. As an English-speaking guide, she made everything easy and enjoyable. Our private tour included a great variety of food stops—our favourites were definitely the crab roe xiao long baos and the sheng jian baos. The experience ended with a nice walk along the Bund, where Wen Jie shared interesting facts and history about Shanghai. It was not just a food tour, but also a really informative introduction to the city. Highly recommended!

Tour was great,it was our second day in Shanghai and our guide Roy showed us interesting locations and gave us deep insight into local cuisine and culinary tradition. He also gave us some fun facts about Shanghai and overall Chinese history. Excellent way to get to know Shanghai for any first time visitor.
