La laguna di Sete Cidades, situata sull’isola mozzafiato di São Miguel, è uno dei punti di riferimento più iconici dell’arcipelago delle Azzorre, ed è facile capire perché. Questo è il più grande lago d'acqua dolce delle Azzorre, immerso in crateri vulcanici che modellano il paesaggio unico dell'isola. La laguna è divisa in due specchi d’acqua distinti, la Laguna Verde e la Laguna Blu, creando uno scenario di ineguagliabile e indescrivibile bellezza
Questa piccola chiesa neogotica, costruita nel XIX secolo, è fiancheggiata da un'impressionante collezione di alberi di cryptomeria che costeggiano entrambi i lati del sentiero che conduce al suo ingresso.
In questo tour, viaggeremo lungo il panoramico sentiero sterrato che sale alla vetta del Pico da Cruz a 856 metri, dove godrai di una vista mozzafiato su diverse lagune, tra cui l'iconica Lagoa das Sete Cidades, le Lagune Verde e Blu, la Laguna Rasa e la Laguna di Santiago. Proseguendo lungo la cresta della caldera, circondati da magnifici paesaggi, faremo diverse soste, una delle quali al Miradouro das Cumeeiras, dove godremo di viste mozzafiato sull'intera caldera di Sete Cidades, le sue lagune e il villaggio sottostante.

A great tour, accessing tracks you couldn't reach by car, guide was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we had.

Fantastic tour! Andre is a great guide. He provided details on both the beautiful scenery and the culture of the Azores. He took us to many view points and let us walk around and we never felt rushed or bored. I loved that it was a small tour group size. We came in on a cruise ship. Andre picked us up and dropped us off right at the port. We highly recommend this tour.
What a fabulous day out. We were on a cruise ship and were met at the port by our guide. He was Danish, and had been working in the be Azores for several years and was very knowledgeable. The trip was amazing and we were able to take loads of photos at the viewpoints we stopped at. We had a 40 minute stop where we were able to get a coffee and shop for souvenirs. Our guide was one of the best we have had and he dropped us in Ponta Delgada so that we could do some more sightseeing.
Half a special day. The 4x4 route makes all the difference, allowing off-road paths and stunning views. But the differentiating element was the guide, André was impeccable, friendly, available, fun and always sharing knowledge. His love for the island is always noticeable making the visit unique.

We had a great guide who was a Dane who spoke perfect English (of course he did as he is from Denmark!) who lives in the Azores as an official tour guide and knew so much about the island - very interesting and told us heaps of stories about the people and unusual events. The weather was cloudy but we were very lucky as the clouds lifted and we had marvellous views of the green and blue lakes. Brilliant.

Fun half day tour exploring the Sete Cidades Volcano. Our group was full, 9 including the guide, yet comfortable in the jeep. The weather was great so the viewing was spectacular. Well paced tour and just the right amount of time to see the area. Recommended!!
We had a private tour for 3 of us in a Land Rover Discovery. Our guide was Hugo who was very interesting, fun and informative. We were lucky and managed to avoid the mist so that we could see down to the lakes. At Sete Cidades village we had about a 1/2 hour stop. Time to enjoy a tasty cake and coffee and have a walk to the lake front. It was great to find out more about the island and Hugo gave us some helpful tips for our trip to Furnas.
