Iniziate la vostra passeggiata al Mercato di Rovigno in Piazza Valdibora. Basta aprire Ciceru nelle vicinanze per iniziare a esplorare le bancarelle all'aperto e l'ambiente del lungomare, dove il commercio, il colore e l'aria salata definiscono ancora il ritmo della città.
Davanti alla facciata rossa di Palazzo Califfi osservate le sue finestre barocche e i dettagli in pietra, ex residenza nobiliare che ancora oggi la piazza dall’esterno.
Fermati sotto l'Arco Balbi e guarda in alto le facce di pietra scolpita e il Leone di San Marco, la porta cerimoniale che un tempo controllava l'ingresso alla città isolana.
Attraversate Piazza Matteotti e ammirate le facciate pastello e la vista sul porto, una piazza costruita su un terreno bonificato dal mare quando Rovigno smise di essere un'isola.
Sali su Grisia Street e ammira la sua ripida pavimentazione in pietra, le finestre chiuse e le facciate fiancheggiate da gallerie, un corridoio all'aperto dove arte e vita quotidiana si fondono.
Alza lo sguardo al campanile di Sant'Eufemia e osserva la sua forma di ispirazione veneziana e la statua rotante, un punto di riferimento visibile da quasi qualsiasi punto della città.
Salite sulle rocce di Monte Beach e ammirate il contrasto tra pietra, mare e la chiesa sovrastante, un bordo grezzo dove la città vecchia incontra l'Adriatico.
Guarda le restanti sezioni delle vecchie mura della città e nota come le case sono costruite direttamente nelle fortificazioni, trasformando la difesa in architettura quotidiana.

The self guided tour depends completely on wifi. I’d the connection us poor you’re our luck. In addition the others that I paid for couldn’t connect to the you’re.. it was a complete wast of time
The narrator obviously knew nothing about the city, and even mispronounced Rovinj throughout the tour. He was just trying to read from a script. That was a real turnoff. It would have been much more interesting for me, if the narrator was native to the city and knew what they were talking about.

We're correcting the Rovinj pronunciation and going back through the script for the places where it reads flat. The tour was OK. I felt there was a lot of information at each stop and some of it was repetitive. It was nice that you could speed up the recording when listening. Overall I would recommend as you did get to walk around and hear the history. Personally we felt we only needed to purchase one tour for our small family of 4 and did not need to purchase per person.

This is a great self guided tour. We enjoyed being able to tour at our own pace, and we learned fascinating details and facts. If we hadn’t done this tour, we would have missed important sites. My suggestion to the developers is to tweak the apps user interface, especially when toggling between the chapters and directions. I ended up having to go back to the email with the link many times. Also the narrator pronounced “Rovinj” a few different ways throughout. All in all a great app and we would happily do it again.
