Per coloro che sono alla ricerca di un tour più genuino, con una compagnia di tour con sede locale, questa giornata è progettata per concentrarsi esclusivamente sul Grand Canyon proveniente da Sedona, lungo la strada verso l'alto guidiamo attraverso Oak Creek Canyon, passando per Flagstaff e condividendo informazioni geologiche e storiche per tutto il percorso. Questo tour è uno dei pochi tour del Grand Canyon che ti porta attraverso il deserto dipinto! Ci fermiamo poi per il pranzo al Cameron Trading post all'interno della storica prenotazione Dine' (Navajo) quindi entriamo prima nella Porta Est. Una guida veloce e una lezione geologica e storica mentre viaggiamo sull'altopiano del Colorado. Discutiamo la storia dei coloni, la geologia unica e sperimentiamo un importante cambiamento climatico in meno di 20 minuti.
Scopri i meravigliosi colori del deserto dipinto mentre guidiamo attraverso la nazione Navajo fino all'ingresso est del parco. Parliamo di come questa terra apparentemente arida, ma allo stesso tempo bellissima, ospita il più antico gruppo di nativi del Nord America e le leggende che si svelano.
Una pausa per il pranzo. Così come il posto migliore per acquistare arte nativa e vedere souvenir.
Questo è un fantastico tour progettato per concentrarsi esclusivamente sul Grand Canyon. Trascorriamo 4-5 ore esplorando il bordo, discutendo della geologia e interpretando l'antico passato di Öngtupqa, il grande canyon di sale che custodisce 13.000 anni di mistero. Il corso della giornata consiste in 4 soste lungo il bordo, con pranzo in mezzo. Una breve passeggiata lungo un sentiero lastricato, e poi torniamo a Sedona dopo 4 ore di visite turistiche.

Qui visitiamo il sito dove Thomas Moran dipinse una delle scene più iconiche del Grand Canyon. È qui che segnalo la geologia specifica del Grand Canyon, solo da questo punto si può vedere ogni strato esposto.
Ultima tappa, con nei parchi i confini del Villaggio. È qui che il 70% dei visitatori frequenta, la maggior parte non lascia l'area del Villaggio. Questo è qui il treno, i ristoranti, e tutti gli alberghi si trovano. È la parte più profonda. più ampia del Canyon considerando la sua distanza di 278 miglia. È lo spettacolo principale, da qui è dove il gruppo arriva a trascorrere un'ora intera vagando ed esplorando. Le opinioni sono quasi incomprensibili. Questo sarà fuori ultima fermata mentre nel parco. We had an absolutely wonderful Grand Canyon tour with Connor as our guide. His knowledge was incredible — he shared fascinating information about the flora, geology, and historical formation of the canyon that made the entire experience so much more meaningful and memorable. The drive through Oak Creek Canyon was breathtaking, and we also enjoyed stopping to shop at the Cameron Trading Post, which was a fun and unique part of the trip. Connor was friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about the area, which made the tour both educational and enjoyable from start to finish. GRAND CANYON was amazing! Connor was great. He knew the ins and outs of the park, avoiding many of the crowds but still allowing us to see the canyon from various perspectives. He was, by far, the most knowledgeable guide we ever had on any excursion. From the geological to the cultural to the historical to even the spiritual, he was extremely well informed. Even our 10-year-old, who craves information about national parks, had every question answered and then some.

Conner was the best tour guide ever. So much interesting information and facts about the entire area. The 2 hour drive to and from the Grand Canyon went by so quickly. My mother and I had a fantastic day touring the Grand Canyon with Connor in early May. He picked us up and dropped us off promptly at our Sedona hotel. He was professional, knowledgeable and an easy conversationalist. We learned and explored more than we would have been able to do on our own. It was nice to sit back, relax and take in the views, history and geology without any added pressure or stress. He exhibited clear passion in the subject matter and shared a lot of interesting facts with us, but was never overbearing. A truly great guide and well worth the money (since this is a private tour, you can really maximize your time and tailor the day to your interests). Book early as his schedule fills up - you won't be disappointed!
