Scopri i villaggi di pescatori galleggianti e il Great Tonle Sap Lake su una tradizionale barca a fondo piatto, viaggia in tutta comodità verso il lago in un minivan / auto con aria condizionata o tuk tuk con la tua Guida turistica locale del lago che parla Inglese mentre passi per campi di loto e risaie. Poi, a bordo di una mini barca Tara (tutte le nostre barche hanno giubbotti di salvataggio e servizi igienici per la vostra sicurezza e comfort) che naviga sul fiume Siem Reap e poi fuori verso il lago Tonle Sap, vedendo i villaggi galleggianti, tra cui scuole, chiese, case, negozi, stazioni di servizio, stazione di polizia, tutti galleggianti e coccodrilli e allevamenti di pesci sulla strada (coccodrillo e allevamento di pesci a seconda dei livelli attuali dell'acqua). All'arrivo alla famosa Queen Tara, (ex cargo boat di quasi 100 anni) nel cuore del villaggio galleggiante, rilassati sui ponti principali, goditi il cibo e le bevande inclusi e goditi la vista mozzafiato. Visiteremo i villaggi galleggianti completi, a seconda dei livelli attuali dell'acqua, il nostro obiettivo è quello di avvicinarci il più possibile al villaggio galleggiante, abbiamo speciali barche dal design unico che possono viaggiare in sicurezza in tutti i tipi di livelli d'acqua, come il lago stesso e in effetti i sistemi fluviali che portano nel lago possono variare da appena mezzo metro a ben oltre 10 metri in un cambio di stagione, la nostra guida esperta del lago e anche i nostri conducenti di barche sono nati in questo villaggio, quindi sicuramente conoscono i posti migliori da esplorare, questo è un vero villaggio galleggiante dove tutto galleggia, comprese chiese, scuole, stazioni di polizia e negozi, ci sono orti galleggianti, campi da basket galleggianti, sale da biliardo galleggianti e molte case galleggianti, circa 6000 villaggi lo chiamano casa e il il villaggio si sposta dentro e fuori come dettano le stagioni, (nelle stagioni dell'acqua alta il villaggio galleggiante vero e proprio sarà nel sistema fluviale e l'acqua bassa si sposterà sul lago) il pranzo e le bevande fredde sono fornite sul Queen Tara Riverboat

I loved this tour. Friendly knowledgeable guide. It was all very interesting. We were the only 2 people on the trip. Lots of different things to see and just under 4 hours was great for us as we'd had a very busy previous day. Would recommend.

We organized our own tour, traveling by Tuk Tuk from Siem Reap to the ticket office where one can easily purchase a ticket for a wooden boat ride to view the floating villages and unique way of life along the shores of Tonie Sap.

Truly memorable experience of the floating village on the Tonlé Sap lake. I had a sprained ankle so felt intrepid about transfers to boats. I was actually so well cared for by Mony our guide with help from fellow traveller, Jason. Picked up in air con taxi from hotel, looked after throughout and returned to hotel door. The speciality of this Tour was a lunch on a beautiful restored 1920s Cambodian boat, moored alongside the floating village, where as well as a delicious lunch we had time (45 mins) to take it all in. Enjoyed conversation with Mony, learning more about local custom and culture. I really loved this experience and appreciated the social enterprise ethics of this particular company which align with my own values. I think it translates into the kind of experience you have with the staff who clearly live what they do and enjoy working for this company. I recommend this tour and this company in a heartbeat. I hope to go back without a sprained ankle. 🙏🏼

What a serene place and beautiful view of seeing little birds gliding through waters for a drink. Floating villages were awesome and do spend money in their shops to support them.

It was a very pleasant trip. Mr Friday is an excellent guide. He has gone extra miles to comfort us. I would recommend you to take this trip and visit the hidden gem of Siem Reap.

The guide and driver were amazing. Lots of local information. Was international women’s Day. Stopped and picked lotus flowers. Seen alligators and the floating villages. Had lunch beer beer…It was great! A must see if you are in Seim Reap

Even in the dry season, the lake was big enough and powerful enough! It's like the ocean. The guides were friendly and precise, and we had a great time!

We had a 3 hours boat trip to floating village Ching Kneas in Tong Le Sap area arranged by Tara Boat Tour. There are lotus farm, village people, crocodile farm along the road. The most impressing part was to met up with kids in the village. Would recommend to bring some candies / tidbits with you to send to the children. They are quite shy and smiley. Tour guide is Poss Poun( Mr Friday) who is also a teacher in the school, a sincere and kind hearted big boy. I would recommend this trip if you do not have the whole day for it. Do meet the village people, you won’t regret.
