La nostra prima tappa è il Quitandinha Palace, un ex hotel-casinò con un'architettura imponente e splendide decorazioni all'interno.
Ex casa estiva della famiglia reale, ora un museo con un'esposizione permanente dei loro mobili, strumenti musicali, abbigliamento, gioielli e altro ancora.
La Cattedrale Metropolitana "Sao Pedro de Alcantara", una costruzione in stile neogotico francese, dove sono sepolti i resti dell'ex imperatore D. Pedro II e alcuni membri della famiglia reale.
Accesso esclusivo! Visita la "House of 7 Errors", una casa con un'architettura e una decorazione intriganti e squisite, incluso il secondo piano "off limits"! Da non perdere!!
Camminiamo un po 'per' sentire la città e la sua atmosfera 'e vedere le bellissime dimore storiche della Città Imperiale.

Our tour was perfect. Our tour guide Romulo and our driver, coincidentally, Romulo made a great team. We are an older couple (73 & 75), and they took great care for our safety and comfort. Saw every thing we wanted to see and more. It was wonderful, getting out of Rio for the day with a welcome respite from the heat and overall frenetic energy of the city. Petropolis is calm, cool and historically interesting.

Excellent trip the driver was excellent and we felt safe going up and down the mountains. The guide Henry was wonderful, knowledgeable and attentive. Gave us guided tour but also allowed us to explore alone. A wonderful day. I would recommend to everyone.

We did four tours with Marcelo and his company while in Brazil. All three were outstanding. After booking a Rio tour with him, we had a couple days to fill in our itinerary and he suggested this tour. It did not disappoint. It was a great change of pace from Rio full of history and culture. The palace and casino were both must see attractions. It was also our last day of the trip and he flawlessly coordinated our drop off at the airport. Fabulous location to get away, visit the Imperial Palace and church. Walk around the locality, to feel like you are on another holiday a tremendous change from busy and hot Rio.

A great tour with Fabriana , our guide, on a very rainy day. No problem with the rain as tour is mostly indoors . Excellent architecture and history. Although quite a way from Rio, its well worth a visit once you’ve seen The main sights in Rio ie Christ the Redemer etc.
