La prima vista del tour è Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque che è veramente un capolavoro dell'architettura mondiale. Ci sono voluti 6 anni per erigerlo e nel 2001 è stato aperto con successo. Questa moschea è un tradizionale edificio islamico leggero in pietra arenaria e marmo. Ha 5 minareti - un minareto principale e 4 laterali che creano uno speciale aspetto distintivo. Il design interno è ricco di mosaici, enormi tappeti persiani fatti a mano e lampadari decorati con cristalli.
La perla dell'Oman musical e arte scenica.
È un posto ideale se vuoi dare un'occhiata alla vita ordinaria dell'Oman. Basta andare lungo le file, cercare gli oggetti, contrattare e divertirsi perché qui puoi trovare tutto a partire dalle spezie che finiscono tappeti tradizionali, vasi o solo souvenir.
Residenza di Sultan Qaboos. Da entrambi i lati i forti circondano il palazzo, quindi probabilmente ti godrai il magnifico scenario. Situato nel centro della città, attira sempre molti visitatori e, sebbene non sia permesso alle persone di entrare, possono facilmente andare in giro a fare foto interessanti.
Bait Al Zubair è una fondazione culturale nata inizialmente con un museo privato che ha aperto al pubblico le sue porte in legno intagliato nel 1998. È finanziata dai suoi fondatori, la famiglia Zubair. Nel 2005 la famiglia ha fondato la Fondazione Bait Al Zubair come braccio culturale e sociale dell'azienda a conduzione familiare, The Zubair Corporation. La Fondazione gestisce lo spazio culturale e sviluppa progetti legati alla cultura e al patrimonio, alle arti, alla comunità, alla storia e all'editoria. Bait al Zubair espone la collezione di manufatti dell'Oman della famiglia che abbraccia diversi secoli ed è considerata la più bella di proprietà privata. I suoi manufatti etnografici riflettono competenze ereditate altamente specializzate che definiscono la società dell’Oman, sia passata che presente. È una delle icone architettoniche del paese e nel 1999 è stato l'orgoglioso destinatario del premio per l'eccellenza architettonica di Sua Maestà il Sultano Qaboos, la prima volta che è stato assegnato in Oman.

We had an amazing tour discovering Muscat. The beautiful Opera House, Mutrah Fort, Museum and Palace, and the incredible Muscat Mosque. It has to be seen to be believed. Our tour guide Mahmoud was so informative, and gave us a wonderful introduction to the history of Muscat. Mahmoud is an exceptional guide. A great ambassador for his country. We enjoyed this tour very much.

Mohammed Aldighaishi was the guide for our group and did a great job, his great personality lifted the tour to another level. He also gave advice on fair prices for the stop at the souk. This tour was very well managed by the lovely Mohammed Aldighaishi who was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. It was wonderful to get to know more about Omani culture and traditions and how better to do that than through an native Omani?! The tour highlight was the Grand Mosque for me which was truly spectacular. We had a lovely tour group from different parts of the world - we all got on well.
