My sister and I went on this tour together and it was incredible. The tour guide is extremely knowledgeable about the coffee farming process, the flora and fauna of Colombia, and the town of Minca itself. The coffee was delicious as well as the hot chocolate drink we had at Jungle Joe’s. Definitely recommend this experience. We learned a lot and had a great time.
Thank you very much for the wonderful review,we are glad to know that you had a great time.
Another good tour made with this agency.A prívate car took us in different Hostels at 9 AM we arrived in Minca at 10.30am guide was in English that was perfect for the group.Visiting Marinka waterfall, chocolate museum, coffee farm and swimming in the river, great guide and people in the group.Something special the lunch, with opción vegan, vegetarian and no gluten.5.30pm a car take us to the hostel.thank You very much tagangaviajes!
Thank you very much for the review!
Disappointing that we were late for the tour. We were waiting and waiting for our transport and turns out nobody was on their way. Luckily our hostel owner made many phone calls on our behalf saying that he was looking at our receipt and could validate that we had in fact paid and had confirmation. The agency sent a vehicle out and we joined a group late. Once a part of the group the experience was worthwhile. The falls were quite small but nice nonetheless. Lunch at jungle joe’s was a fabulous 3 course meal. Our guide had a good sense of humour and was very knowledgeable. Learning about coffee was good and making chocolate was great 👍🏼
Sorry for the bad experience with your reservation, yes sure is always better to confirm with the agency. But the tour in Minca is really wonderful and we are proud that you enjoy the day!
This tour was great, but its a packed day filled with many activities, so be ready! Transport is taxi, which they will send to get you at your hotel. In Minca you will walk through jungle/forrest and get to the first stop, which will be about coffee, you will go through whole process, but its still quite brief. Then you will taste the coffee that they make, go to the small waterfall, where you can also swim, walk to the place where you will have lunch. The lunch was more luxurious than I expected. After lunch there is talk about biodiversity (which I really enjoyed) and little bit about cacao and bamboo. You even get to make your own chocolate 'bar', which was awesome. And also Sam was a great guide.
Thank you very much for the wonderful review!
One is “rushed” from one location to the next. So you don't even have time to look left and right. I felt like you were being handled. A little positive I was right about the food and the view at Jungle Joe.
We are sorry that you did not like the tour, being a group tour and not private it is normal that the times are managed by the guides according to the wishes of most of the participants.
