Scopri il lato autentico di San Paolo con un tour attraverso la baraccopoli di Paraisópolis e ottieni una visione unica dello spirito vibrante della sua gente, in particolare dei suoi veri artisti. Dopo il ritiro a casa tua, guidiamo verso la favela che vive circa 100 migliaia di persone. Fermati presso la sede dell'Associazione Comunitaria e conosci la sua storia e i principali progetti. Visita lo studio radiofonico e chatta con i residenti locali. Quindi, arriva all'officina meccanica Berbéla e ammira la sua arte fatta di scarti di metallo che dà vita a tutti i tipi di forme. Vai alla casa dello scultore Estevão, noto come Gaudí di Paraisópolis. Entra nella sua casa in pietra, ricca di accessori come tazze, piattini e piatti, che fanno parte della struttura della casa e ci danno senso di fantasia. Ottieni una prospettiva dall'interno camminando attraverso i vicoli e le strade labirintiche della rete fino a raggiungere il campo di calcio di Palmeirinha, la prima biblioteca creata all'interno della comunità e un progetto di balletto.

Itinerario
Il tour inizia presso l'Ufficio Associazione Comunitaria. I visitatori potranno conoscere la storia della comunità, la fondazione della "Community Association" e i suoi principali progetti.
Quindi, i visitatori saranno condotti allo studio radiofonico della comunità per guardare uno spettacolo dal vivo e incontrare alcuni oratori della comunità. (l'itinerario può variare a seconda della data e dell'ora del tour)
Fai una visita a Berbéla e alla sua officina meccanica, un grande artista plastico e residente della comunità. Berbéla costruisce le sue opere d'arte a partire da parti di automobili come scarti metallici e rifiuti chimici, dando vita a ogni tipo di materiale scartato nella sua officina. Realizza opere d'arte che pochi possono discutere sui suoi talenti.
Vai alla casa dello scultore Estevão, noto anche come "Gaudí di Paraisópolis". Una volta lì, i visitatori potranno entrare in una bella casa in pietra, ricca di accessori e oggetti di uso comune come tazze, piattini e piatti, che fanno parte della struttura della casa, conferendole fascino e un senso di fantasia ai visitatori. Parti per un'avventura attraverso aperture e spazi vuoti per raggiungere il punto panoramico e apprezza lo straordinario scenario contrastante della favela nell'elegante area del quartiere di Morumbi.
I visitatori cammineranno attraverso gli stretti vicoli della comunità raggiungendo il campo di calcio del Palmeirinha, e forse cattureranno una classe degli studenti del progetto "Rugby For All". (l'itinerario può variare a seconda della data e dell'ora del tour)
Prosegui per vedere il vicolo di Luciana e continua fino alla "Biblioteca BECEI", che è la prima biblioteca creata all'interno di una comunità.
Passeggia per le stradine del centro di Paraisopolis in direzione del Paraisópolis Ballet Project. Incontra la regista e ballerina Mônica Tarragó, che presenterà il progetto e indurrà i visitatori a guardare un po' della classe e incontrare alcuni studenti.
Dopo tutto ciò, i visitatori possono desiderare di avere un superbo cibo tipico brasiliano presso l'affascinante "Bistro Mãos de Maria" sul tetto della sede dell'associazione di comunità nella Favela. (non incluso nel prezzo del tour)

Carlos was absolutely incredible. Had such positive energy and wonderful knowledge of all of São Paulo. We have been blessed to travel all over the world and he was definitely one of the best. The guadi faces house in the favella can not be missed and can’t believe it’s not advertised it’s unbelievable.

Danilo was an excellent guide. Not only did he provide a lot of background information on the way there, but together with the G10 organization he was able to offer incredible insights into life in the Favela during those 5 hours— with meaningful encounters, great food, unique views, and authentic perspectives. I did a guided tour of Paraisópolis, the largest favela in São Paulo, and it was one of the most eye-opening experiences of my trip. My personal guide Adi was fantastic — fluent in English and deeply knowledgeable about the community. He helped translate from our local favela guide, Marcus, who spoke Portuguese, so I never felt out of the loop. The tour was informative, respectful, and gave a nuanced look at daily life in Paraisópolis — both the challenges and the incredible creativity that thrives there. I was amazed by the talent, art, and sense of community within the favela. At no point did I feel unsafe; instead, I felt welcomed and inspired. The highlight for me was visiting what locals call the “Gaudí of Brazil” house — a surreal, hand-built architectural wonder that felt like stepping into a dream. If you’re visiting São Paulo, don’t shy away from this experience. It’s powerful, human, and unforgettable — a side of Brazil that deserves to be seen and understood firsthand.

Never expected that we could get a chance to get to Favela. It was absolutely fun, interesting and unique experience. Our guide Carlos was professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour! This wonderful hotel in the centre of the old city of Avignon is highly recommended. Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room and close to everything you need. Stayed 10 days in a Privilege Room with Terrace - just brilliant to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Lots of room and added bonus of being outside on a rooftop with views of the old city. Great value for money. Well done Hotel de l'Horloge.
