Penny was very responsive before the trip and gave clear directions. She was flexible and able to modify the tour, to suite our needs. Once the tour began, she was very informative, engaging and interesting. The pace was relaxed and she showed us many sites and the conversation flowed easily. I thoroughly recommend her to anyone who wants to see Athens and also do any tasings of local cuisine and wine.

The night time walk was good since it wasn’t so hot, but the night lights weren’t so spectacular. The Botanical garden was the highlight of. Penny spoke well and was knowledgeable . Meeting place in front of a hotel was not so obvious

What stood out most was her genuine passion for Greek history and culture. In addition, between the heat and walking, she was thoughtful with taking sitting breaks periodically. Penny was always willing to answer questions and made sure I felt included and comfortable. The Discover Athens Walking City Tour was the first walking tour I have done in all my travels and it was the best way to get a snapshot of the layout of central Athens and the history of the area. Katerina was very knowledgeable and I particularly enjoyed learning about the history of Athens and Greece. Katerina was friendly and engaging, everything she shared caught my interest!
