It was an unusually HOT day when we were there so it might have influenced my reactions to this excursion. On which a day I would recommend plenty of water and sunscreen. Much time is spent on the bus traveling to and from Dover and Canterbury. Our guide was knowledgeable enough but not terribly friendly. Her information was presented more as a recitation of facts than in an interesting, casual way. She reminded us NUMEROUS times, in a way better suited to children, about each departure time(and yet, in her defense, several guests were late each time).
Learned a lot about the English countryside from the guide. The bus was comfortable and the driver was very professional
Lucy, our guide, was wonderful!! Loved all the little known facts she shared. My friend lost her credit card on the way and Lucy called the places we had been to see if she could find it. She also gave good routes for those with mobility issues so that they could all the good things.
The guided trip to Dover and Canterbury was very good. Deklan, the tour guide, was very informative and made the trip enjoyable. He was also customer service oriented. Booking was smooth. The sites were great though we had some fog in Dover, but knew that would be a possibility. The coach was comfortable and clean.
Our tour guide, Giles, was very knowledgeable and was always willing to answer any questions that we had. We especially enjoyed the Dover portion of the day.
A wonderful day trip! Was looking to book a tour to Canterbury, and the addition of the White Cliffs was great! The day wasn’t too long, and there was plenty of time to explore the Cliffs and Canterbury.
A wonderful tour of white cliffs and Canterbury. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He also was a true historian and you tell he loved his job, he was very funny as well ❤️❤️❤️
Lucy and Dawn were incredible hosts. This trip is a must do! If you’re able, we highly recommend doing the beach hike down the Dover Cliffs. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. We love how this trip gave us plenty of time to explore Dover and Canterbury on our own. Lucy is extremely knowledgeable as she is from the area.
This experience was great! Our guide Gilles was amazing and had a lot of good facts and recommendations. Phil the driver was also fantastic. Wish we had more time in Canterbury, but overall lovely experience.
Had a great day on the tour from London. Bus operator Laura was so fun, everything was very comfortable and on time. Tour host Declan was knowledgeable (and entertaining!) about the history and the area. We walked over the cliffs and took the trail down to the sea. Everything was just spectacular.
