Visiteremo la Cattedrale di Matera, un esempio di stile romanico pugliese ed intitolata alla Madonna delle Bruna. Quest'ultima è l'effigie Mariana più cara ai Materani e viene festeggiata durante l'omonima festa del 2 luglio.
Entreremo in una casa grotta "abitandola" per qualche istante come materani di altri tempi. Diventeremo con il pensiero tutt'uno con la civiltà contadina ormai scomparsa per un piccolo viaggio emozionale. La visita comprende anche l'ingresso in neviera e nella chiesa rupestre di S: Agostino al Casalnuovo. NB. nel caso in cui questa particolare casa grotta sia inaccessibile, se ne visiterà un'altra equivalente
E' la chiesa rupestre più scenografica e significativa presente nei Sassi di Matera , posizionata all'interno di un incredibile sperone roccioso oramai diventato simbolo della città. N.B. Qualora questa chiesa rupestre non sia accessibile, visiteremo la chiesa rupestre di Santa Lucia alle Malve. In caso di inaccessibilità anche della chiesa rupestre di Santa Lucia alle Malve, visiteremo la chiesa rupestre dello Spirito Santo.

Impeccable organization, from the first contact on WhatsApp to the final goodbyes. We took a guided tour of the city of Matera with Mr. Antonio. Initially the visit was designed for a disabled friend to attend, then it was converted into a full visit. Zirlio Agency has been very quick to respond to particular requests and very flexible in changing programs from the beginning. We were also organized a tour of the Murge with the panoramic bus.
