Itinerario
Iniziamo il nostro viaggio con un assaggio di chorreadas, una tradizionale tortilla "versata" di mais costaricano servita fresca da un venditore ambulante. È la perfetta introduzione ai sapori della regione.
La nostra prossima tappa presenta l'iconica caldasa, una miscela unica di croccanti patatine di mais condite con ceviche costaricano. Questo classico piatto di strada è un must-provare!
Ammira la bellezza di Jacó mentre passeggiamo lungo la spiaggia, ammirando i vivaci murales e l'arte pubblica della zona. Questa sosta ci permette di immergerci nel paesaggio naturale e culturale.
Il giovedì visiteremo il mercato contadino locale, dove potrai esplorare prodotti freschi, prodotti artigianali e la vivace atmosfera della vita comunitaria di Jacó.
Dopo la passeggiata ci fermeremo su un altro venditore per gustare un chiliguaro, un fuocoso scatto costaricano fatto con chiaro di luna locale, cileno e Tabasco.
Rilassatevi in un incantevole ristorante sulla spiaggia di proprietà locale. Qui, assaporeremo bevande rinfrescanti e piatti a base di pesce preparati con il pescato locale più fresco.
Per coloro che non ne hanno mai abbastanza di questa audace bevanda costaricana, faremo una seconda sosta per un tocco diverso sul chiliguaro.
In un bar locale preferito, sorseggeremo una classica Michelada, una bevanda rinfrescante a base di birra, e gusteremo un sostanzioso chifrijo, un gustoso mix di chicharrones (maiale croccante) e frijoles (fagioli).
Concludiamo con una nota dolce con una visita a un amato venditore di dolci per Churchill, un gelato costaricano con strati di latte condensato, ghiaccio tritato e guarnizioni di frutta.
Durante il tour, condividerò approfondimenti sulla geografia, la storia, la cultura e l'arte di Jacó, nonché aneddoti personali e storie sulla città. I had such a wonderful with the guide Josue. He is very knowledgeable of local Jaco history, culture and the food. I learned so much about the cuisine and history while i was on this food tour with Josue. The foods are so tasty as well! I won’t be able to discovery those dishes on my own if it’s not for Josue. Josue is very friendly and approachable. I can tell he really enjoys touring and guiding people and teaching Jaco history. The portion of the food/drinks are perfect. Highly recommend this if you are in Jaco. Come hungry!

Guide, itinerary, food, drinks were all excellent. Well worth the costs. My wife and I had a fantastic time and experienced delicious food we would have never ordered.

Josue is absolutely amazing! He really has a way of bringing strangers together for a great cultural experience. The food was amazing, but nothing will ever compare to the quality of the Ceviche; I’m still thinking about it lol! You can tell the locals really love and respect him and I would expect nothing more for such an amazing soul! I’ll be back and this will definitely be on my list!

From beginning to end Josue was very informative, accommodating, charismatic, passionate about Costa Rica and its many offerings. He communicated well before the tour to check in as well and had umbrellas for anyone who needed one as it was a very rainy day. That didn’t stop the tour at all. He really cared that all of us were having a great time and enjoying trying new things. We even did a side stop in another store for some shopping and he pointed out other great stops to try while in Jaco. Everything we ate and drank on the tour was delicious and had a story behind it. Josue is a fantastic guide, storyteller, really so good at keeping our interest and time management. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Jaco!

Absolutely loved the tour. Josué was extremely accommodating and made sure he gave us lots of history with every stop. The drinks, food, and desert were all 10/10. Would highly recommend 👌🏾

One of my favorite food tours! Josue is so knowledgeableand a really great guide. Traveling solo, I was able to experience the local food, learn the history and felt completely safe. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a crash course in the delicious local food and interesting history of Costa Rica.
