Goditi un tour di un'intera giornata alla scoperta dell'entroterra e della costa dell'isola di Santiago: il modo migliore per scoprire la cultura, la storia e i paesaggi di Capo Verde. Dopo il prelievo mattutino, viaggia verso São Domingos, Órgãos e Picos per ammirare imponenti montagne. Proseguimento per Assomada City per visitare il mercato locale e scoprire la vita quotidiana dell'isola. Fate una sosta a Boa Dentro per ammirare l'albero più grande e antico di Capo Verde, il Kapok, vecchio di 700 anni. Visitate il Parco Naturale della Serra Malagueta per ammirare viste mozzafiato da 1.000 metri sul livello del mare. Dirigetevi verso la città di Tarrafal per esplorare lo storico campo di concentramento, rilassarvi sulla spiaggia di Tarrafal e godervi il tempo per nuotare e pranzare. Nel pomeriggio, proseguite lungo la costa orientale fino al villaggio di Rabelados, quindi proseguite attraverso Calheta fino a Pedra Badejo per vedere la più grande piantagione di banane del paese. Edmilson has been very kind and careful in driving me around the Island stopping any time I asked for. Also some places are not to miss on this day tour: Assomada, Tarrafal, Serra de Malagueta, Rabaledos village and all the glimpes of rural areas and people along the route. Do not forget to take a look at Pico de Antonia silhouette on the way back to Praia when the sun is about to set.

Fabulous day-tour around the island with a dedicated, knowledgeable guide, Eddie. We completed a comprehensive circuit from Praia up to the north, then back south via the western side of the island. Eddie's English is superb and he does all he can to make the tour as interesting and exciting as possible. If you're planning to visit other islands, get in touch with Eddie or his colleagues to get the latest on inter-island travel options as they're hard to figure out from abroad.
