We didn’t know what to expect but this was a 5-star experience! Sante Fe is already charming but this was the proverbial icing on the cake to end my birthday weekend and 5tj of July celebration. The live entertainment (singing guitarist) was top tier! He said from his repertoire, took real time requests, and even sang and played on the fly when my wife asked him to sing and play Teddy Swims “Lose Control”. The views were picturesque. I told my wife this was the best excursion of my life. (The margaritas were incredible too but they didn’t skew my review 😆). Bravo to the waitstaff and even the murder mystery cast that made random pass throughs on our car. We will be back to visit the city and plan to do the evening tour as well.
The train is clean and seating is not cramped. Great singer/guitarist on board in our car. At the halfway point we were wowed by a young Hopi dancer doing the hoops as her dad played the drum. Good drinks.
This was an awesome experience. I do recommend upgrading to first class to experience the car that transported people like Clark Gable and others. The views were spectacular.
We just returned from New Mexico. We had a great diner at Geronimo's in Sante Fe NM, and then. we took the Sante Fe Scenic sunset trip. We enjoyed the scenery, music, drinks and most of all the fellowship with friends. The old rail car was neat. We also went outside and enjoyed the sunset. This is a must do if you are in Sante Fe.
Amazing views and great music
Super good service. Attentive hostess. Great entertainment with LOS33 (not sure their name). Drinks were a bit small for the price, but that is expected on a tourist attraction.
Awesome train ride in Santa Fe! While not cheap, it was absolutely worth it for this fun new experience. We loved the welcome drink, and charcuterie that we purchased ahead of time. The train ride itself was fun and scenic, and we so enjoyed the musician on board, Caleb. It was music that anyone could enjoy, young or old. There is a flatbed car where you can go outside and stand on as well. Restroom on board.
Overpriced for the ride. They did not have some of the items for snacks and not all the drinks on the menu. Mainly a trip through the county with people’s backyard butting up to the tracks. More a trip to meet people. Music was okay.
My wife and I did the Sunset Serenade tour. It was a great evening with wonderful music and a beautiful sunset. It was nice to go out on the open-air car for a short time. A very nice way to end the day.
