Sandwich Habour è il luogo in cui le dune di sabbia di Namib incontrano l'Oceano Atlantico. Unisciti a noi in un'escursione di mezza giornata in uno dei tanti punti salienti della Namibia. Durante questa escursione sperimenterai la guida in spiaggia e le emozionanti unità di dune con fantastiche opportunità fotografiche. Un sacco di fermate dove è possibile sperimentare la fauna e la flora e alcuni animali.

Itinerario
Un'escursione avventurosa di mezza giornata in 4x4 con partenza da Walvis Bay alle 08:30 o alle 13:00 verso l'area di Sandwich Harbour dopo una breve pausa alla laguna di Walvis Bay per vedere alcuni fenicotteri e saline, proseguirai verso il delta del fiume Kuiseb, un letto asciutto del fiume dove lo strano springbok può essere visto. Dovranno essere attraversate bellissime dune per arrivare a Sandwich Harbour. Se il tempo e le maree lo consentono, guiderai fino alla laguna di Sandwich Harbor, una delle zone umide più ricche e uniche dell'Africa meridionale. Se i nostri veicoli non possono guidare lungo tutta la spiaggia per raggiungere Sandwich Harbour a causa delle maree, avrai la possibilità di vedere l'area della laguna da uno dei nostri tanti bei punti panoramici e avrai il tempo di camminare ed esplorare l'area di Sandwich Harbour . Molto tempo è concesso per la fotografia. Ci si può aspettare un pranzo al sacco leggero con alcune bevande fredde in uno scenario mozzafiato prima di tornare tra le dune per qualche altra avventura.

A unique experience Hans our guide took us to live a unique experience a breathtaking landscape .. from the salt flats to the dunes to the ocean .. with detailed explanations and stops to take photos and a high-level snack wine every drink you wanted..thank you
We were collected at the end of the pier by Marius. A local who knew so much about the area and Namibia generally. We left town and headed into the dunes seeing Springbok, seals on the beach, flamingos (albeit at a distance) and Pelicans as well as other birds. Tracks in the sand made by Shovel nosed lizards and jackals - what a treat. Then a fabulous lunch with a glass of sparkling wine. Very civilised! Homewards with trips down amazingly steep dunes through the salt basins to our cruise ship. Highlight of our trip!
We would be picked up on time, driver Hans had exciting stories to tell. We would also be surprised with a fantastic picnic in the middle of the dunes. The tour was as described and very nice
Great tour with drive between dunes and sea and in the dunes to the Sandwich Habour lagoon. Marius (owner and guide) was great, punctual, informative and absolutely customer-oriented.
Beautiful landscape with dunes falling into the ocean. Very well organized excursion, expert guide. But the place has become very touristy with too many 4x4s roaming the dunes
A highly recommended tour. Our Guide who was called Marius has a lot of experience and drives great. We always feel maximum security. He explained a lot of things about the country, the dunes, the fauna... you can see that he is passionate about what he does and knows how to transmit it. He showed us the colors of sand, metals, dunes flowing into the sea... he drove for fun like a roller coaster. In the end he offered us a picnic that was very delicious, chocolates, beer... We had a great time and learned a lot. We will always thank you for the amazing afternoon you put us through.
Great tour and shout out to our awesome guide Gerhard! He was super friendly and made the tour that much more enjoyable. The tour was a mix of great views, animals, good picnic lunch, and of course the iconic views of the dunes and ocean. A must do in the area.
We had such a great time on this half-day tour of Sandwich Harbour and the sand dunes. The flamingos were amazing! Our guide, Gabby, was so friendly and knowledgeable. She definitely knew how to drive the dunes! The tour also included a snack, but it was more like a full lunch. So delicious! A perfect day in Walvis Bay!
