Scopri la Toscana in un giorno da Firenze. Inizia nella città di San Gimignano, patrimonio dell'UNESCO, con circa 2 ore di tempo libero per esplorare torri, vicoli e botteghe artigiane. Si prosegue per Monteriggioni (stagionale; vedi nota), un borgo murato perfettamente conservato, con il tempo di passeggiare all’interno delle mura. Attraversa le dolci colline del Chianti fino a un'accogliente cantina per una degustazione di tre vini e un pranzo a tre portate dalla fattoria alla tavola, che termina con cantucci. Nel pomeriggio, goditi una visita guidata a piedi di Siena: passeggia in Piazza del Campo e ammira il Palazzo Pubblico, poi ammira la Cattedrale (visita interna se l'opzione è selezionata). Termina con il tempo libero prima di tornare a Firenze. Piazza della Cisterna è un'incantevole piazza medievale situata nel cuore di San Gimignano. Circondata da torri medievali e palazzi storici ben conservati, la piazza prende il nome dall'antica cisterna situata al suo centro. La piazza di forma triangolare è pavimentata con pietre medievali e trasuda un'atmosfera senza tempo. Con la sua architettura medievale ben conservata e il fascino unico, Piazza della Cisterna si erge come un punto focale accattivante all'interno del sito Patrimonio Mondiale dell'UNESCO di San Gimignano.
Queste mura ben conservate, risalenti al XIII secolo, servivano sia a scopi difensivi che simbolici. I "Mura" offrono una passeggiata panoramica lungo la loro lunghezza, offrendo viste panoramiche sull'affascinante città, le sue torri iconiche e la pittoresca campagna toscana.
Entra in un villaggio fortezza da favola circondato da mura e bastioni intatti, amato da registi e appassionati di storia. Godetevi il tempo libero per curiosare nei piccoli negozi di artigianato, passeggiare per la piazza e immergervi nell'autentica Toscana medievale. Successivamente, goditi del tempo libero per sorseggiare un espresso, curiosare nelle boutique o continuare a esplorare questo capolavoro gotico al tuo ritmo.
Piazza del Campo è la piazza principale di Siena, famosa per la sua caratteristica forma a conchiglia e l'elegante pavimentazione in mattoni. Circondata da edifici storici, ospita il Palazzo Pubblico e la Torre del Mangia. È anche la cornice del famoso Palio di Siena, storica corsa di cavalli tra le contrade della città.
Cattedrale Ingresso e visita guidata all'interno solo se selezionata l'opzione - ufficialmente conosciuta come Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, è una splendida cattedrale medievale di Siena. Rinomata per la sua caratteristica architettura gotica, la cattedrale presenta una magnifica facciata ornata da intricate sculture. All'interno, i visitatori possono ammirare notevoli opere d'arte, tra cui affreschi, mosaici e statue di artisti rinomati come Donatello e Michelangelo. L'interno mozzafiato della cattedrale presenta anche una suggestiva pavimentazione in marmo e una magnifica Biblioteca Piccolomini.
Solo se è selezionata l'opzione di ingresso alla cattedrale - La Biblioteca Piccolomini, ospitata all'interno del Duomo di Siena, è un gioiello rinascimentale ornato da vivaci affreschi del Pinturicchio. Commissionate da Papa Pio III, queste opere raffigurano scene della sua vita, creando un tesoro culturale e artistico all'interno del Duomo di Siena.

Lovely tour of Siena and the medieval towns. Siena's Duomo is magnificent. And nothing beats tasting Tuscan wines in their vineyard. Special thanks to Ricardo and Nino for taking good care of us.
This tour provided an excellent way to see Siena, have a wine tasting with a delicious meal, and explore other historic areas en route. We had Ricardo as a guide and he was great to work with, very knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the day, often pointing out the best spots for coffee or gelato in each town. It was the full quoted 11 hours but was broken up nicely with lunch in the middle. I’m glad we did this tour as a day trip from Florence.
Great tour with Alexandra! Good value for money. Siena and San Gimigniano well worth a visit. Do not miss the famous world winner Dondoli gelato, best gelati I have ever had! The wine testing and lunch could be better, wines were nothing special but ok, do not have too high expectations.

This trip was very interesting, we visited very beautiful places and we really enjoyed it. Our driver Halim and our guide Aleksandra were very kind and professional, they tried to make us comfortable and were available to us the whole time. Aleksandra is multilingual which is a big bonus, she spoke both English and Spanish the entire time. I would recommend this trip in spring or autumn, we went in August and it was very hot, but despite that we had a great time. We started the trip in San Gimignano where we spent about 2 hours, after that we had a short visit to Monteriggioni where we spent a little less than an hour which was quite enough. After that we had lunch in an interesting agritourism called Il Ciliegio where we also tasted three types of wine and digestivo. After that we headed to Siena where we spent about 2.5 hours.
