La guida turistica vi verrà a prendere in hotel per iniziare il tour con la visita a Sakkara e la Piramide a gradoni di Zoser, il più antico edificio in pietra della storia, costruito dal re Djoser. Trasferimento per visitare l'antica città di Menfi, antica capitale dell'Egitto fondata dal re Menes intorno al 3000 a.C., dove ammirerete gli antichi templi dei faraoni, il palazzo reale e la statua di Ramses II. Proseguimento per Dahshur per visitare la Piramide Rossa, costruita in pietra rossastra, e la Piramide Curva, dedicata al re Snefru. Infine, rientro in hotel a fine giornata.

La guida turistica vi verrà a prendere in hotel per un'escursione alla Piramide a gradoni di Zoser, la più antica struttura in pietra di rilievo del mondo. Fu costruito durante la III dinastia (intorno al 2630 a.C.) per il re Djoser. Il museo di I Mhotep, la tomba di un alto funzionario, la piramide del re Titi e la piramide del re Unas.
Dopo quel trasferimento a Menfi, che fu fondata dal re Menes, e fu la capitale dell'Antico Egitto durante l'Antico Regno, fu considerata un centro di governo e cultura per oltre 3000 anni la prima capitale dell'Egitto, la città raggiunse un picco di prestigio sotto la VI dinastia come centro per il culto di Ptah, il dio della creazione e delle opere d'arte. La sfinge di alabastro che custodisce il Tempio di Ptah funge da memoriale del precedente potere e prestigio della città. La triade di Memphis, composta dal dio creatore Ptah, dalla sua consorte Sekhmet e dal loro figlio Nefertem, costituiva l'obiettivo principale del culto della città. Continuerai l'esplorazione. Poi ti sposterai a sud per visitare la Piramide Rossa e la Piramide Rotonda di Dahshur. Dahshur è una famosa necropoli reale in Egitto e ospita numerose piramidi famose, tra cui la Piramide Rossa e la Piramide Rotonda del re Snefru. Il sito si trova a circa 40 km dal Cairo. We chose the driver only option for this tour. Rashad, our driver, was on time, and very accommodating, in that we could choose the order of the places we visited. We were provided with a drink and a chocolate bar, which was nice. Rashad was a great driver and totally professional, and our tour went for the full eight hours. We enjoyed our day very much.
Unfortunately I don’t think that our guider George did a good job. During the tour he was consistently working on his cell phone. Not only almost no time to talk about the trip in the car on the way, but even at the destination spots, most time he only gave us very limited information than ask us to visit the places ourself while we saw a lot of guiders were with their tourists and explain a lot in the spots, for example, in Memphis. We feel very disappointed.
George was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable. Vans can be a little better since the drive was long and the seats we not the most comfortable. But seamless experience, the guide was not out for tips and gave us a wonderful experience!
Excellent way to visit Dashur, Memphis and Saqqara pyramids. Priori knowledge of the sites makes the experience much more valuablr. All went well with our driver.

The good: My driver was very personable, flexible, and safe. To Improve: I found communication from the tour company about includes/excludes confusing, and not all of the includes listed on the voucher were provided. Also, I couldn't get in touch with the tour company until the morning of my tour.
Mr Hamdy provided excellent service for our day trip. He was punctual, polite, and engaged in good conversation throughout the journey. He was flexible with our itinerary for the day visiting Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur, and we were accommodated for our hotel changeover - collecting us from our Giza hotel after checkout and later dropping us at our new hotel in Zamalek. We felt comfortable leaving our luggage in the car for the day (note: security required luggage to be briefly removed when entering the Saqqara site). Having the car for the full day meant we could explore all the pyramids at our own pace. Travel tip: For lunch, we recommend Blue Lotus restaurant, just 5 minutes from the Saqqara complex, which serves fresh, local Egyptian food, with a daily changing buffet menu, and is very affordable.
Well organised tour with friendly experienced guide and driver, on time and attentive. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in ancient history. Makes you realise there is so much more to Pyramids than those at Giza.
We went on a private day tour to the Sakkara Pyramids & Memphis & Dahshur Pyramids. It was such a unique experience, one of seven wonders of the ancient world.
We had a nice driver who took us to Sakkara, Dahshur, and Memphis. It's highly recommended to get a car to avoid the heat. Thanks to Belal for showing us around!
