Absolutely incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience. We visited Morocco for our honeymoon and chose AST based on positive online reviews. After a helpful conversation with them, we opted for a 4-day Sahara excursion. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. Our guide Yassine was a true professional with deep, soulful love for his homeland. He introduced us to authentic Moroccan food, music, sights, and people. Our accommodations were excellent, the drives were comfortable, and every day of the trip was fresh and exciting. He even surprised us with a congratulatory “Happy Honeymoon” cake after dinner in the middle of the desert. His kindness and hospitality was truly extraordinary. This tour was the only way to go. Hakim, our driver was amazing. He made stops that were planned but also a few extra stops that he thought we’d enjoy (we always did). He was also very relaxed. We never felt rushed or nervous about anything and always got to our stops on time. And Yassine (who we communicated with before the trip) always answered our questions quickly via email. Plus Erg Chegaga is the way to go.

Faultless private tour. A magical 4 days to switch off, take in the spectacular views & immerse ourselves in Moroccan culture & cousine. The accommodation & food provided was above our expectation! Our guide Jamal was excellent with our toddler, shared many amazing stories with us along the way & catered to our needs perfectly. Highly recommend!

We opted for the 5-day tour, and it was smooth sailing from pick up to drop off. Lahcen, the tour operator, was incredibly helpful and responsive, tailoring the trip to meet our needs perfectly. A special shoutout to Hakim, our driver, who was extremely attentive, professional, and a wealth of information on the places we visited. He spared us from tourist traps, sharing invaluable tips as well as fascinating tidbits about the history of the region along the way. Despite the long drives, the comfort of the car and well-distributed stops made the journey feel surprisingly short, not to mention the breathtaking scenery. Exploring a more authentic side of Morocco, away from the bustling cities, was a refreshing experience. It was great to enjoy a worry-free itinerary. We also always conveniently arrived at our destinations at the best times. The accommodations, from hotels to the campsite, were top-notch, we couldn’t have chosen better options ourselves—comfortable, well-maintained, and the food was delicious. Our favorite part was hands down the two days spent around Merzouga in the desert especially the quad in the Sahara dunes. Undoubtedly a 5-star tour! Cannot recommend AST enough! It genuinely felt like we were travelling with a friend when we were travelling with our tour guide Mohammad. From the itinerary, to the accomodation, to the food, it was all excellent.

We did the 5 days Sahara tour from Marrakech to Fes and it was everything we imagined it to be! From the beautiful sceneries to the cultural experiences, we absolutely enjoyed every moment of our tour! Our guide Walid was amazing from start to finish, he took really good care of us and made sure we were okay when the earthquake happened. The Sahara desert experience was the most memorable and we are so glad we customized our tour to spend 2 nights in the desert. Sleeping outside while stargazing at night and catching the sunrise early in the morning, as well as camel riding to the campground were the highlights of our trip, we definitely recommend it! 🐪🏜️🌌

We had the best trip through the Sahara with Aboubakr! He clearly knew a lot about each place we visited and about the Amazigh people and made our trip as fun and safe as possible. Every place we stopped along the way was breathtaking and all the accommodation was amazing, especially where we stayed in the desert! By the end of the trip it felt like we were all friends, we didn't want to leave! Will definitely be back.

Got to experience the very best of Morocco in the 5 days we spent with Aboubakr, who went above and beyond to make our experience special. His knowledge of the country, his absolute mindblowing navigation skills (Google maps who?) and his passion for the Amazigh culture which he so openly shared with us made this trip beyond all our expectations. We even had the honor of enjoying a wonderful home-cooked meal at Aboubakr's lovely home - hosted by his generous father who was a reflection of Moroccon spirit of giving and generosity. If you truly want to experience Morocco beyond the surface, make sure you get Aboubakr to show you around -you'll leave with some wonderful memories, a deeper understanding of Moroccon culture and an amazing playlist of soulful Amazigh music (keep Spotify handy!)
